This might not be severe enough to go under Fridge Horror, but it might fit under Fridge Brilliance.

Added DiffLines:

* FridgeBrilliance: Twilight would have had plenty of reason to be irritated at Spike just from how big the cleanup was, but a potential additional reason comes to light when she mentions she had to enlist Luna in it. Princess Luna is nocturnal which means that not only did Twilight have to call for backup in the end, she had to ''wake Luna up'' to do so. That would have been irritating for Luna and unpleasant for Twilight.
Is there an issue? Send a MessageReason:
I agree that the ice cream part is probably not good evidence in-universe (ponies seem to eat a lot like humans), but the first part is still valid, I think.

Added DiffLines:

* FridgeHorror: Rarity doesn't eat or sleep once she's possessed by the "Inspiration Manifestation" spell. Would the spell have kept her alive indefinitely, or would she have artisted herself to death?
Is there an issue? Send a MessageReason:
No, it's not any kind of censorship.

* AccidentalInnuendo: Fluttershy's hesitation before calling one room in the new birdhouse a "bedroom." A bit of self-censorship, perhaps?
Is there an issue? Send a MessageReason:
One: Waking someone up is not fridge horror. Two: It's a cartoon and they eat ice cream and sweet all the time.

* FridgeHorror:
** Princess Luna is nocturnal which means that not only did Twilight have to call for backup in the end, she had to ''wake Luna up.'' She can't have been happy about that.
** Rarity doesn't eat or sleep once she's possessed by the "Inspiration Manifestation" spell. Would the spell have kept her alive indefinitely, or would she have artisted herself to death? Probably the latter, seeing how she apparently didn't even notice the severe horse colic her ice cream binge would certainly have inflicted.

* WhatAnIdiot: Between not considering the possibility that a spell in a book with spikes on the cover (which is behind a locked gate, on a pedestal hanging over a pit, in a secret room of an old, abandoned castle) may be a bad thing and putting his feelings for Rarity over pointing out the problems with some of her earlier "improvements" (i.e. giving Rainbow Dash an outfit that doesn't fit her job handling the weather; fancifying a party that is clearly intended for children), this is definitely not one of Spike's better days in terms of intelligence.

'''You'd Expect:''' Spike to listen to the owl and think of a way to inspire
Rarity over pointing without using magic or maybe bring the book to Twilight first to make sure what he's doing is safe.\\
'''Instead:''' He ignores the owl's pleas and takes it directly to Rarity.\\
'''So:''' Spike shows her the "Inspiration Manifestation" spell.\\
'''You'd Then Expect:''' That Rarity, even in her creative funk, would be suspicious of said spell and think for a moment that Spike's attempt to get her back in the swing of things could have serious consequences.\\
'''Instead:''' She casts the spell and proceeds to wreak havoc in Ponyville.\\
'''You'd Then Expect:''' During Rarity's earlier attempts to "improve" Ponyville, for Spike to point
out the problems with just how impractical some of her earlier "improvements" Rarity's improvements (i.e. giving Rainbow Dash an outfit a dress that doesn't fit prevents her from doing her job handling the weather; fancifying fancying a party that is that's clearly intended for children), this is definitely not one children) are, thus freeing Rarity from the spell before things get too out of Spike's better days hand.\\
'''Instead:''' Spike puts his feelings for Rarity over the flaws
in terms her works and doesn't finally give her the much-needed criticism until ''after'' she made a complete mess of intelligence.Ponyville (to the point that it took three princesses to clean it up) and plotted to do the same in other cities.

** Rarity's first design is quite literally unusable and enitrely based on form over function, and ''barely lets someone fit into it''. You'd think a Tailor would know more about that, but of course, she has to design it the most improbably bad way possible.

** For a couple of clearly-experienced businessponies, neither Rarity nor the puppeteer are having their best days. Rarity's first design is quite literally unusable and enitrely entirely based on form over function, and ''barely lets someone fit into it''. You'd think a Tailor would know more about that, but of course, she has to design it the most improbably bad way possible. At the same time, the puppeteer should have at least taken a look through Rarity's [[PimpedOutDress usual line of work]] to give himself an idea of what he could expect; giving an artist a three-word description like "traveling puppet theater" and expecting them to read your mind is a great way to piss your contractor off.

* BrokenBase: Even before the episode aired, there was some conflict between those who ship Spike/Rarity and were hoping for more ShipTease and those who don't. WordOfGod weighed in at a [=BABScon=] 2014 panel that them being together ''at this time'' isn't appropriate because of his age.
** Which in all honesty is a pretty flimsy excuse because there ''are'' no ages, at least they're not being stated. Spike could be 18 years old and we'd never know.

** Rarity is now powerful enough to transmute matter like wood and stone into solid gold and jewels for miles around, Sorceress Supreme Twilight Sparkle is actively looking for her in an attempt to figure out what's with all the dark magic, sounds like the stage is set for some epic confrontation right? Well it wasn't. They totally dodged each other the entire episode.
