* GeniusBonus: In one episode, Jenny finally gets a date with a boy who has a fear of technology. The movie they choose to see? ''ModernTimes''.

** What's probably worse is in "Escape from Cluster Prime" where ''everyone'' in Tremorton gangs up on her for destroying the town on the anniversary of its founding after she fails to save it, [[HorribleJudgeOfCharacter saying they'd be better off without her "troublemaking"]] [[WhatAnIdiot all while blatantly disregarding the fact that she's the only actual superhero they have available]], which understandably makes her very bitter. This later bites everyone in the ass in an oh so glorious fashion: the Cluster invades and Jenny goes missing, and [[OhCrap everyone suddenly finds they could use Jenny's help around this time]]. [[spoiler: Jenny eventually returns in time to stop the invasion and gets the appreciation she deserves, despite there being more collateral damage]].

* TooGoodToLast (Like ArrestedDevelopment and JoanOfArcadia released in the same year, the show didn't last very long despite being labeled as "one of the best shows of 2003").

* JerkAss: Tuck. Oh my! Tuck.

* FridgeBrilliance: Dr. Wakeman built the [=XJ=] series after the Armagedroid debacle, and then you realize that she did so to build a ''humanistic'' protector, one who wouldn't be greeted with abject fear everywhere she went. Which is why [[DoAnythingRobot Jenny]] is the final model, and the slightly-less-than-human [=XJ8=] is the younger sister.
** Another ''Escape from Cluster Prime'' example: Vega describes her mother as a, out of all the words in the world, tyrant. [[spoiler: Considering that Vexus took away her kingdom's rights to defend themselves, and framed a foreign robot just because she didn't want to become a resident of her home planet, leaving her home planet open for any hostile takeover...]]
* FridgeHorror: Jenny defeats Armegedroid by [[spoiler: making him realize that ''he'' is a weapon, and therefore he "must be destroyed" (his words, even). He then self-destructs. And, since he was created by Wakeman, he's technically her brother. Jenny essentially convinced her own brother to kill himself.]] Now try to keep thinking of her as a gentle, compassionate heroine.
* FridgeLogic: What relation ''is'' Armagedroid to Jenny, exactly? Same creator, different series - half-brother? Cousin?
** This ties in with a point brought above: Little Acorn, a wooden puppet that Ms. Wakemen built when she was a child, wanting to [[BrotherSisterIncest marry Jenny]].

* AccidentalNightmareFuel: At the beginning of the first episode, Tuck walks into [[spoiler: Jenny's house]] to [[ItMakesSenseInContext retrieve the baseball]], much of the house looks dilapidated, with what looks like the remains of a robot [[SymbolicBlood leaking oil]]. [[BigLippedAlligatorMoment This is never brought up]] [[FridgeHorror again.]]

* HighOctaneNightmareFuel: When Tuck envisions the Planet of the Bikers, there's a sudden art shift in the character design, giving it a more-than-creepy look. The fact that the evil bikers' designs are based on the work of RobZombie doesn't help much, either.
** Although Tammy is pretty, her monstrous mouth and tongue (ShoutOut to Alien) can catch people off guard in "Ball in Chain". Also, the concept of being a slave in marriage is a frightening concept, but trying to get out of it, which involves the groom being EATEN by the bride, is another level of horrifying. It is said to be the tradition on the Space Bikers planet!

* Crossover: Jenny is often drawn with/as [[{{Vocaloid}} Hatsune Miku]], due to both characters being virtual and wearing teal pigtails and short skirts.
