* FanDumb: Seen any time the balance of juice is debated, there's really no middle ground and both sides are adamant about their opinion.

* HateDumb: Even before launch MNC was being accused of being nothing but a clone of VideoGame/TeamFortress2.
** The Steam version was accused of being ruined with the cross-promotion of [[VideoGame/TeamFortress2 "Hat Fortress 2"]].

*** Super Monday Night Combat, on the other hand, has a lot more content compared to Super Monday Night Combat, but most of the content is locked and it is very tedious to unlock anything without spending real world money.

*** Monday Night Combat is a typical Xbox Live Arcade game. It doesn't have a whole lot of content and doesn't put much emphasis on unlocks. Outside unlocking at least one custom class, which takes very little time, everything else that gets unlocked is a BraggingRightsReward.

The only real motivation for playing the game is fun rather than progression.

** Even without the platform debate, there is still a rift between the format.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The CrapsaccharineWorld MNC is set in a world that's very interesting in a [[{{NightmareFuel}} horrifying, dystopian way]], and [[{{AllThereInTheManual}} character's bios]] allude to several events in in history and politics that would make for great stories, such as the Assassin wanting to escape the hyper-consumerist system. None of that is seen to any large degree in gameplay. It is [[{{JustifiedTrope}} justified]] since in-universe MNC is [[{{BreadAndCircuses}} meant to distract people from how bad things are]] [[{{FridgeBrilliance}} so they would try and speak of it as little as possible]], but it's still frustrating.

* AscendedMeme: When an Assassin respawns in Super MNC, GG Stacks will describe her as "Like a magic fart" or simply "magic fart!" This is based on a meme from back in Super MNC's very early stages during the closed alpha, where players would describe her new "Leap" ability (Which leaves a large cloud of smoke in the place she leaps away from) as "The Magic Fart." This is also prevalent in the "Magic Fart" Flair (Misc item).

* DifficultButAwesome: The Tank is extremely flexible, but his slow speed, slow health recovery, and the variety of skills required to master him are crazy.

* FanDisservice: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPv4VXPqYgs As demonstrated.]]

** Late game jungle encounters become steeped in ParanoiaFuel courtesy of the Bouncers. They're not too menacing in a straight fight, but they will grapple you they get close enough-- and they will, if you're focusing on, say, defending the Annihilator or fighting Chickey Cantor. Depending on when this happens, [[UpToEleven ONE single grapple from a Bouncer can change the tide of an entire match.]] Player spawned ones can also be a serious nuisance while on defense.

Added DiffLines:

* HellIsThatNoise: The Fuzz (an environmental hazard in Spunky Cola Arena that can be spawned by either team) comes with an ear-tearingly high pitched shriek. If you happen to be in its line of fire when the enemy team sets it off, it will also likely be the last thing you hear before getting tore apart. Jackbots also have a foreboding rumbling that can be heard from quite a distance, and if that Jackbot happens to be an enemy, your day is about to get a whole lot worse.
