* SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped: The show takes pains to educate people on what can be considered rape. If you didn't get it when it was implied by Alisha's use of her powers, it was later explicitly called rape by Curtis. Then there was the coach drugging his athletes and even later a very clear explanation from Simon that having sex with someone who is asleep is rape. Apparently, there's also a rule against sex with very drunk girls.

The writer was incorrect about the character evaluation. Alisha didn\'t gain her power just for enjoying casual sex, but because she uses her sexuality as a tool

* SlutShaming: In a show which develops superpowers based on exagerrated versions of the characters' most pronounced trait (ie, being shy and unnoticeable = invisibility, overconfidence = immortality, shame at their past=time travel o undo mistakes, etc), [[http://www.thefword.org.uk/blog/2009/11/guest_post_misf Alisha's most noticable trait is apparently her sexuality]] (in that, she's a 'tease' = induces uncontrollable urge to have sex). Already uncomfortable is the fact that her power makes men [[UnfortunateImplications utterly blameless in their attempts to rape her]], and its compounded in the first episode, where Nathan's attitude towards sex is shown to be [[DoubleStandard just as casual.]] Essentially, it can be interpreted that Alisha's power is somehow a punishment for her behaviour.

Moving the Slut Shaming entry over here, as it feels more appropriate.
