*** She especially comes across as this in "THE DEVIL'S WOODS!", while she shouldn't have smashes possessions in Uncle Larry's trailer, she's actually stressed out as she has to take care of ''her'' family and Jesse is continuously thinking about himself and Jesse continues to live on her trailer and never apologizes for his wrongdoings.

** We are never supposed to sympathize with Melissa since she's a bitch to Jesse, but she comes across as sympathetic on "AUNT MELISSA FIGHTS PSYCHO DAD!" where Jeffrey Sr. pushes her into a tree and in "NOT MUCH DIFFERENT!", where she is being treated like a slave by her husband George, and *** In "THE FALLOUT! (PART 1)" where no one listens to her when she's only warning Terry about what will happen if Jesse lives with her and Jesse will dump all the work for her to do it.

** Melissa is always shown as a jerkass who hates Jesse and becomes a negative influence on Terry, but she is 100% correct that Jesse is spoiled and whiny and that he will leave his mother to do all the chores around his house in "THE FALLOUT! (PART 1) and her words came true, and had every right to be mad at Jesse since he trespassed on Melissa's property and stole their food and tried to turn her family against her.

** We are never supposed to sympathize with Melissa since she's a bitch to Jesse, but she comes across as sympathetic on "AUNT MELISSA FIGHTS PSYCHO DAD!" where Jeffrey Sr. pushes her into a tree and in "NOT MUCH DIFFERENT!", where she is being treated like a slave by her husband George, and in "THE FALLOUT! ** Terry is shown to be in the wrong for "kicking out" Jesse from his house, but she's not wrong for pointing out Jesse's laziness and just playing video games and not doing any work, not cleaning up after himself, and not complying with Terry's code of conduct and she didn't really kick him out, Jesse decided to leave himself in a childish manner.

** Terry is shown to be hated for her selfish behavior towards the family and for "kicking out" Jesse, but she comes from a home where she has to deal with his husband breaking stuff, his younger son throwing tantrums, and his older son being a BigBrotherBully and her being the [[OnlySaneMan only one who doesn't flip out and is reasonable and mature]] and she decides to leave when she had enough and she goes to live with her friend Melissa and gets hated for being a {{Jerkass}} towards Jesse but she soon realizes the error of her ways and ends her relationship with Melissa and she tries to set rules for Jesse's house, but Jesse refuses to comply and throws a tantrum and decides to leave.

* ProtagonistJourneyToVillain: Some fans of the series, who believe it is scripted and staged, see the story about Jesse's slow descent from a good kid dealing with an insane and overbearing father and a sociopathic brother into someone just as bad as they are, if not worse given his occasional forays into Main/ManipulativeBastard territory.

* UnintentionallySympathetic: Jeffrey Sr. is always presented as being in the wrong for his [[HairTriggerTemper angry outbursts]] and [[AbusiveParents belittling his sons]], but he really wants his sons to succeed and get good jobs and stop acting immature and grow up, [[CharacterDevelopment which Jeffrey did later on]].

** Terry is shown to be in the wrong for "kicking" out Jesse from his house, but she's not wrong for pointing out Jesse's laziness and just playing video games and not doing any work, not cleaning up after himself, and not complying with Terry's code of conduct and she didn't really kick him out, Jesse decided to leave himself in a childish manner.

** The title of Jesse's vlog "THE RAGE QUITTER *PSYCHO UPDATE*" becomes one towards the end of the vlog where Corn [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere quits his job on the farm and stops filming for Jesse]], even if [[TheBusCameBack he came back later on]].

** Aunt Melissa as well when we learn her JerkAss personality was just a JerkassFacade to be strong in front of Terry and dealing with ''her own abuse at home''. Though she managed to return back to the scrappy heap when she returned back to her old ways sometime in New Years Eve.

** Jesse. He's either a JerkAssWoobie or a full blown JerkAss who acts like an annoying ManChild.

Even though his anger was justified, his delivery of his concerns and '''outright banning''' Jesse from even visiting Uncle Larry effectively cutting Jesse off from one of his support base was considered taking it too far. In his latest gaming video in Uncle Larry's channel has received more dislikes than likes and both his twitter account and videos have garnered criticisms of his attitude towards Jesse in "WHAT I COULDN'T DO...".
** "Psycho Dad Watches [=McJuggerNuggets=]" caused Jesse to lose a '''huge''' amount of subscribers when he flat out frames Corn for the MJN videos when Jeff finds out about the channel.

* BecomingTheMask: Seeing that Jesse has slipped into brief temper tantrums due to his "friend" Brian delaying him uploading the behind the scenes, it's possible that after acting in the Psycho Series for over 3 years, a part of Psycho Kid has permanently become part of Jesse's real life personality. Though this is unlikely now since the documentary series was revealed to be fake just like the Psycho series.
** This is also the case for the Angry Grandpa crossover videos where Jesse acts a lot like his Psycho Kid persona to the point where Michael AKA Pickle Boy says he wasn't like this when they met at Vidcon and that the Psycho series has messed with his mind.

** Uncle Chris has definitely softened up, especially in "HELL TO PAY!", where he managed to lower the debt to Warrior's truck that Jesse destroyed from $7500 to $5000, and told him to put the other $2500 towards getting his own place. Of course, Jesse then [[WhatanIdiot uses the money for a console giveaway instead]]. Later in "O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU?", Chris gives one of the biggest [[TheReasonYouSuck The Reason You Suck]] speeches to Jeff Sr. ever on the channel, talking down to him about demolishing Jesse's gaming room and Larry's R.V. (though moments before Chris was justifying the former), telling him to let Jesse do his YouTube "job", and even talks down to Jeff Sr. about shooting the Xbox One, the latter especially surprising considering Chris and Jeff Sr. would normally see eye-to-eye about Jesse and video games.

* MoralEventHorizon:
** Jeffrey's ''entire'' shtick of making Jesse suffer more when he was kicked out of the house, ''especially'' [[DisproportionateRetribution when he smashed his father's trophies and framed Jesse for it just because Jesse broke his camera lens]]. '''[[EvenEvilHasStandards Even his dad called him out on it]]'''.
** Arguably every time Jeffrey Sr. smashes something Jesse has, going into heavy DisproportionateRetribution.
** Jeffrey [[EvilLaugh laughing]] at Jesse in "Psycho Dad Wrecks Car", after the latter had just torn his clothes off like he'd had a nervous breakdown and fallen into a puddle.
** Mr. Ridgway kicking Jesse out '''again''' and accusing him for the prank war between him and Jeffrey, further showing he favors Jeffrey over his own son. Granted Jesse ''himself'' was the cause of it, but still. What's worse is that for '''no fucking reason''', Mr. Ridgway [[TrashTheSet destroys everything in Jesse's room]], [[KickTheDog even throwing away Juilette's gifts]].
*** Some see Teresa not siding with Jesse over the events leading up to "Psycho Dad Busts Door Down" as this.
** Jeffrey Sr. crosses it '''[[RunningGag again]]''' when he smashes Jesse's Wii in "Psycho Kid Birthday Bash" that '''he just got''', and simply using the logic that "He has enough video games".
** Jesse seems to have crossed it in the eyes of his fans in Psycho Kid Submerges Motorcycle, after shouting and ordering his friends who had spent days on end helping him build his room to push Jeffrey's motorcycle into the same pit he pushed Jeffrey himself into.
** Both Jesse AND Mr. Ridgway cross it when they ruin Jeffrey's Halloween party.
** Mr. Ridgway earned the ire of many a viewer when he intruded upon Jesse's new room while he was playing games with his mom, and proceeded to yell at her for not telling him she was going OUT TO THE GARAGE, despite the fact that supposedly he leaves without telling her all the time. He was also mad because the dogs got out, but the main source of his ire was not being told she was going to the garage. He then proceeded to unplug the game console Terry and Jesse were playing on, and basically ordered her to come inside. This has caused many people to declare him a psychotic control freak.
** Jesse lying to his mother (not the first time he has done so) about the events that resulted in Jeffery's odd behaviour. The fact that Jesse puts the blame entirely on Jeffery and never mentions that he himself smashed a beer bottle on Jeffery to stop him from fighting Corn shows that he's willing to lie about his own brother's health just so he can get away scot free.
** Jeff Sr. destroying Jesse's gaming room and car in "Psycho Mom Divorces Husband", causing Terry to divorce him.
** Jeffrey Sr. in "Psycho Dad Splits Computer" did a big one to his wife when he destroyed her computer by putting it in his log splitter and crushing it as well as throwing the rest of her clothes to the front lawn. And '''continues''' to blame Jesse for everything despite '''he''' was the one who started the madness (Granted Jesse ''didn't help matters'' as well..).
*** Note that Jeffery Sr. had also said that he could change to her, making this even worse.
** Jesse once again in BIG BRUDDA'S BULLSH*T! He walks into Uncle Larry's house and gets mad when he sees Jeffery playing video games with Larry and their mom. It's clear Jeffery wasn't doing anything wrong and that he was only filming a vlog (which Jesse also got upset about). Even after Uncle Larry and Teresa say Jeffery came by to return her clothes, Jesse acts like a jerk to him and pretty much makes him leave the house. It's even worse after a previous video has Jesse telling Jeffery he should go visit their mom. Similar to Psycho Kid Submerges Motorcyle, the video got lots of dislikes and people called out on Jesse's rude behaviour.
** Jeffrey Sr. '''as usual''' once again crossed it in "Psycho Dad Wrecks Store", where he wrecks Teresa's "Juggie" store out of fury after she tells him they're done being together, flat out ruining '''Christmas gifts they had planned for fans'''.
** And ''again'' Jeffrey Sr. crosses when he '''assaults Aunt Melissa''' when he starts trashing her Christmas decorations and throws her into the tree. So much so that ''Jesse'', who flat out dislikes Aunt Melissa, storms out to the house and calls him out on how he attacked her.
** ''Terri'', [[NiceGuy much to the shock of everyone]], crossed the line in "TAKING OUT THE TRASH!" when she shows a more JerkAss personality to Jesse regarding his obsession with recording everything and even saying she's done with him. While it ''is'' understandable considering he [[WhatAnIdiot recorded her and Jeffrey Sr.'s meet up at the mall]], the fact you're telling that to ''your son'' who just wants his family back together doesn't help the cause at all.
*** The video "MY FAULT! *PSYCHO UPDATE*" doesn't help the matter too, as Terri's shown to have TookALevelInJerkAss as she flat out tells Jesse to ''handle the outbursts of [[TheSociopath Jeffrey Sr.]] by himself'', despite the fact Jeffrey Sr. is a '''horrible''' influence on him. Suffice to say, Terri's personality change is scaring fans.
** Jeffrey Sr. in all his "holiness" crosses it in "Psycho Dad's Drunken Rant" when he tells Jesse he's ''[[IHaveNoSon ashamed to ever had him as a son]]'', so much so that even ''haters'' felt bad for Jesse.
** Jeffrey Sr. [[RunningGag once again]] crosses it as usual when he stole $30k right from Jesse just before he leaves to give Buzz the downpayment for the house. Jeffrey's rationalization on confiscating the money is that he sees it as his money based on Jesse making money off of him in his videos, when really, it's because he just can't accept that YouTube is a job and not an excuse to be a lazy, self-entitled Millennial.
** And Jeffrey Sr. once again crosses it in Psycho Dad's Vacation, where he gloats to Jesse about how he used the 30 000 dollars to pay for his vacation.
** Once again, as usual, Jeffrey Sr. crosses it in Psycho Dad Incinerates Fan Mail where he literally burns all of the fan mail Jesse received over the past year, causing Jesse to break down crying.
** It's gotten to the point where it becomes a {{Drinking Game}} each time Jeffrey Sr. cross the line.
** Melissa slapping Jesse across the face in "A SLAP IN THE FACE!". She crossed the line that it [[MamaBear even shocked Terry]] seeing Melissa slap her own son, right in front of her face.
*** Before slapping Jesse, upon finding out that Jeffrey Sr. was in the emergency room, Melissa [[DudeNotFunny casually and gleefully makes jokes about how she wish he had died or gotten cancer]], rightfully angering Jesse.
** "THE FALLOUT (PART 2)" has one when Terri basically ''kicks Jesse out of his own house and claims it for herself''. What the fuck.
** Jesse pranking his father by saying he got a job.
*** To add to that, Jeffrey Sr. decides to ''destroy Jesse's game collection and'' and '''''force him''''' to get a job. And when he ''actually'' does (working at his mother's canvas company), he '''''rejects that''''', saying that isn't a real job. In the same video, Jesse and Corn find a case with a gun and bullets, which has led to several fans thinking that Jeffrey Sr. plans to ''KILL'' Jesse if he doesn't get a job by the end of the month.
** If none of the above examples were enough for you, Jeffrey Sr. crosses it once again by demolishing Jesse's gaming room while knowing FULL WELL that Jesse and Corn were still inside.
** Jeffery Sr. crosses it again in "Psycho Dad Rips Apart Trailer". He destroyed '''Uncle Larry's''' trailer for something Jesse did that he didn't like. Jesus Fucking Christ.
*** And to add to that, Jesse was INSIDE THE RV as he was ripping it apart, not to mention Uncle Larry's subsequent RageBreakingPoint.
*** Due to the two most recent Psycho videos, many are now convinced that Jeffrey Sr. now hates his son for ''existing'', and is hellbent on killing him.
** On top of the above, Melissa crossed it by smugly telling Jesse 'I told you not to fuck with me' upon assessing the damage done to the trailer, complete with a smug smirk,, implying she tipped off Jeffrey Sr. to his location.
** Jeff ''as always'' crosses it in the recent vlogs when he confiscated more than ''half'' of Jesse's room, implying he's hellbent to not just ''kill'' Jesse, but control everything in his life.
** In "Psycho Uncle Impacts Pool", Jeff ''refuses'' to help Jesse with a now knocked out Uncle Larry after Larry slammed his car into the home pool. And even goes as far as to call his '''own brother in law''' a "piece of shit". In the Psycho Update, he totals Larry's truck with the backhoe, and accuses Jesse of orchestrating the whole thing, punishing him by confiscating his car.
** Jesse in Psycho Dad Watches McJuggerNuggets. After Jeffery Sr. watches past Psycho videos including Psycho Mom Divorces Husband, he puts all the blame on Corn. Who only filmed everything because Jess told him too. It took Jesse to a whole new level of low, so much so that more and more people have started to unsubscribe to him.
** Jesse [[UpToEleven outranks all of the previous crossings in the entire series]] by [[spoiler: '''murdering his own father in cold blood.''' It depends on who you ask, though, as Jeffrey Sr. most likely had it coming after all the physical, emotional, and psychological abuse he inflicted on Jesse.]]

* DethroningMomentOfSuck:
** [[TalentContest McJuggerNuggets Movie Madness]]. Most people are more interested in Jesse's normal vlogs and the psycho series, and would rather see those instead of watching a contest that Jesse hosts. Somewhat justified in that it takes up a slot in Jesse's two videos a day schedule.
*** As of the 18th of May, 2016. Jesse ended #MMM.
** Anytime Jesse's girlfriend is featured in any of his vlogs.
** "Psycho Kid Submerges Motorcycle". As loyal as Juggies are, it really says something if Jesse managed to piss most of them off because of this video.
** Many people dislike the Paranormal and Farming videos due to being {{Filler}}.

* HateDom: Sadly hits within Juggies and older fans of the series blasting younger fans ''simply'' because they believe the series is real. It's sort makes 80% of the comment sections in every video, with the other 20% being along the lines of "Like for x, Sub for x, Ignore for x", comments telling you not to open them, and, before YouTube's view count system was updated to eliminate the "301+" count, "[[WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants Welcome to the 301+ Club, how tough are ya?]]"

* CompleteMonster:
** Jeffrey Ridgway, Sr. (aka Psycho Dad) from the Psycho Series might just be ''the'' most solidly evil example of a HateSink character in WebOriginal history (if not just fiction in general). Not even the likes of '''[[ChannelAwesome Mechakara]]''' and '''[[TheAngryGrandpa Angry Grandpa]]''', even at their absolute worst, compare to him. Not only does he verbally, emotionally, and psychologically abuse his son, he also destroys his property, tries to force his outdated ways on him, and later in the series, is implied to [[Main/OffingTheOffspring be actively trying to kill Jesse]].
** Arguably Boogie comes across as this in his respective arc. Even his "tragic" FreudianExcuse is just a front to hide his selfish ways. We are not given much backstory or motivation for his actions, and he just seems like an evil psycho.

** Jeffrey Ridgway, Sr. (aka Psycho Dad) from the Psycho Series might just be ''the'' most solidly evil example of a HateSink character in WebOriginal history (if not just fiction in general).
