* ThatOneLevel: Boston Aquarium takes place in a flooded aquarium. The water slows you down (and the baddies), and you have an OxygenMeter that slowly depletes; if you run out of air, you don't instantly drown. Instead, your lifebar starts depleting, which is particularly bad if you're low on energy after being hit for the nth time. The second part is particularly frustrating because you have to fight an airborne miniboss who isn't too hard per se, but it's hard to beat him quickly because you can't deal a lot of damage when underwater.

The problem is, they reappear after a few seconds.

If you're not careful, one might cling to you and bite you to death, or if you get too cloce to one, he'll grab you and throw you to the ground.
* ThatOneLevel: Boston Aquarium takes place in a [[flooded aquarium. The water slows you down (And the baddies), and you have an OxygenMeter that slowly depletes; if you run out of air, you don't instantly drown, instead, your lifebar starts depleting, which is particularly bad if you're low on energy after being hit for the n-th time. The second part is particularly frustrating because you have to fight an airborne miniboss, that isn't too hard per se, but it's hard to beat him quickly because you can't deal a lot of damage when in the air ([[spoiler:Unless you play as Cap or Iron Man, which can Air Combo their opponents]]).

** If you choose to go through the lower path in Alaska stage, you'll have a tough fight against three Evil Puck minibosses, almost as annoying as Evil Daredevil, but times 3. They like to jump and roll attack you, forcing you to constantly jump to dodge the first, only to be hit by a second one. If you're not careful, one might cling to on you and bite you to death, or if you get too cloce close to one, he'll grab you and throw you to the ground.
** Dr. Doom can also be this if you don't know how to deal with him. All of his attacks deal a lot of damage, his laser beam comes out very fast and is very hard to read and dodge, (specially if you play as Cap, Iron Man or Hulk, crouching is useless against this attack). If he starts floating in the air, he might choose between firing a spreead of lasers above you, or [[DiveKick dive kicking you]].

** The Asteroid Belt stage takes place in... well, [[CaptainObvious an asteroid belt]]. You have to jump from platform to platform, avoiding the debris that is floating all around the place. The debris don't deal much damage per se, but if you're not careful, one of these can knock you off an edge to your death. Pray if you're low on energy when you get to the miniboss battle with Dr. Doom. [[BatmanCanBreatheInSpace Fortunately you don't have to worry about suffocating in space]].

* ThatOneBoss: The Magus. When you reach The Magus's cabin, he starts the battle by piercing a hole in the wall, as the space vacuum is sucking the air inside, that makes the movement much harder. The Magus himself likes to teleport a lot, if he catches you off-guard, he'll combo you to death. He also shoots a fireball that homes into you, and it's very hard to dodge. When he's less than half of his energy, he sometimes recover a big bunch of his energy, and is completely invincible while doing this, so you have to be very fast to beat him. Whoever says was able to beat The Magus at the first attempt, is lying.
** And we also have Evil Daredevil, the boss of Arizona Mining Complex. Fast and unpredictable, practically you have to guess if he's going to attack on the ground, or in the air. Sometimes when he jumps, he clings on you and sucks half of your lifebar. And let's also add that there are two annoying laser cannons at the sides of the boss's room, which you have to take care of first before facing the boss. The problem is, they reappear after a few seconds.
