* ShockingMoments: Nobody really expected this ''Mario'' pinball spin-off game not developed by Nintendo to appear as a microgame in ''VideoGame/WarioWare[=:=] Move It!'' so many years after its release.

Added DiffLines:

* ScrappyMechanic:
** The game only has one very volatile save file that completely disappears if you click on New Game instead of Continue in the title screen.
** The game has an annoying tendency to completely reset a table's status if Mario leaves it even for a moment. You can clear a playfield's enemies and have a star waiting, then get an unlucky bounce that sends Mario out of a door to a different table -- and when you return to the original field, you have to fight the enemies all over again.

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: The PrerenderedGraphics of ''Mario Pinball Land'' pull off the effect of 3D so convincingly, that on top of being one of the best looking games on Platform/GameBoyAdvance, it could pass for a Platform/NintendoDS game without a second screen.

Added DiffLines:

* SuspiciouslySimilarSong: The music that plays during Tutankoopa's boss battle has a similar progression to that of the boss theme from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIV''. Notably, this theme had gotten a straight-up remix in a prior [[VideoGame/SuperMarioRPG Mario game]].
