** Another one related to said episode: Amongst the monsters that are brought back from the dead are Undeads, Dopants, and Zodiarts, despite the fact that all 3 monsters are defeated in their series proper nonlethallythe Undead are sealed in the Rouse Cards when defeated, and Dopants and Zodiarts are people who used the Gaia Memories/Zodiart Switches who didn't die when defeated; the only cases of Gaia memory users dying were either them being killed by other Gaia memory users, or dying from something unrelated. While the presence of the Undead can be explained away by being ones defeated by other Kamen Riders in other crossovers, no such explanation exists for the presence Dopants or Zodiarts other than to have monsters from every Heisei series up to this point present.

* CounterpartComparison: The series has been compared to Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica (see HilariousInHindsight). More precisely,
** The White Wizard is [[spoiler: Kyubey meets Precia Testarossa.]]

** Within Toei, this show is essentially the Kamen Rider counterpart to Series/MahouSentaiMagiranger due to the riders were modeled after wizards and able to use magic-based powers in their attacks.

* CriticalResearchFailure: During Neverending Story, Amadum steals all the power sources of all Heisei ridersexcept for the just-introduced Gaim. However, he steals the Arms Monsters from Kiva, despite the fact that while said monsters do grant Kiva access to his other forms, he does not need them to transform into his base form or his SuperMode. Realistically, Amadum should've stolen either the Fuestles or Kivat III.

** During the fight against Amadum, Kuuga uses his rider kick against Amadum while in Rising Ultimate form. Amadum should not have been able to survive that, since it's stated in Kuuga's own series that a kick from Ultimate Kuuga is strong enough to destroy the planet; Rising Ultimate's kick would be even stronger.

* KarmaHoudini: spoiler:Depending on whether you're sympathetic to Sora's back story or not, the Karma in question was being a part of the Sabbath Ritual, where he becomes a Phantom instead of being killed and impersonated by one. He still dies in the end of the series though.

* UnfortunateImplications: The Cait Sith Phantom is portrayed as a lazy bum who'd rather nap than harass Gates. While laziness is a standard CatStereotype, the unfortunate part comes from the fact that his human form is played by Bernard Ackah, an ethnically black actorIvorian, but born in Germany. At least one fansub group made matters worse by rendering Cait Sith's dialog with stereotypical "Ebonics" affectations.

** In both the marketing trailer and the teaser for Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge shown at Power Morphicon, Wizard can be seen in a blink and miss shot. Debate about adapting Kamen Rider in the US aside, there's another broken base over if it meant anything: one side believing that it was included by accident, while the other believing that Saban did include it on purpose, and intends to use Power Rangers as another PoorlyDisguisedPilot for an adaptation of Kamen Rider.

Debate about adapting Kamen Rider in the US aside, there's another broken base over if it meant anything: one side believing that it was included by accident, accidentsince if one looks very close, the logo for Series/SuperHeroTime is visible for a split second, while the other believing that Saban did include it on purpose, and intends to use Power Rangers as another PoorlyDisguisedPilot for an adaptation of Kamen Rider.Rider. The former side seems to have been the one that was correct, since by the time Series/PowerRangersNinjaSteel began airing, nothing came of this.

** The Legion Phantom has the power to invade and destroy a personís Underworld, which he abuses to satisfy his love of destruction. Seeking anyone altruistic enough for him to consider "Beautiful"--children included--Legion puts them in a catatonic state, a process shown to be extremely traumatic. With no loyalty to anything save his lust for destroying good people, Legion made an impression despite his limited screen time.
