Years later, Takaiwa's retirement from the lead Rider role has him pass down the mantle to ''Yuya Nawata'', a relatively new suit actor who ''started off as [=MoTWs=]'' before taking up more popular Kamen Rider roles such as Genm and Geiz.

** One of the longer-running ones is the 2nd Phase number theory. The first few such series (''Decade'' to ''Fourze'') had very clear numerical themes, with the number incremented by one every year (Decade's number was 10, but easily serves as 1 in the pattern; Double was "two Riders in one" and used two Memories at once, OOO's Medals came in threes, and Fourze was named for 40 Switches ("''Four-ze''ro") and used four at a time). A number of fans believe the theory that Toei kept on incorporating the theme even when the Rider's name and number of trinkets didn't reflect it, though just as many think that said believers are [[SharpshooterFallacy only seeing the theme numbers because they want to find the theme numbers, not because said numbers are there on purpose]]. Thankfully, the theory died down over time, as there was little discussion over any presence of tens in ''Build''. The theory was finally put to rest by Shirakura on twitter, [[https://twitter.com/cron204/status/1095471070776221697 confirming that it was never more than a coincidence.]]

** Whether or not the series should get a ''Power Rangers''-esque adaptation - proponents will point towards ''Series/KamenRiderDragonKnight'' as an example of how to adapt the series properly, as well as point out that if there was an American KR franchise, merchandise would be released over here, and the source material would likely be released similar to how Shout Factory is releasing the Sentai series; opponents, on the other hand, will point towards [[{{Bowdlerise}} Saban making the show more appropriate for kids]], and also point towards the [[Series/MaskedRider OTHER American Adaptation]] as a counter-argument. Still others would prefer a subbed version release on an anime streaming website like Crunchyroll.

* FridgeBrilliance: Shocker is established to have ties to the Naizs, with several of it's key members having been Nazi officers. The Great Leader of Shocker is implied in later series to be an evil spirit powered by and sustained by [[AsLongAsThereIsEvil human evil]]. Is it any wonder the guy first surfaced, that we know of, after the atrocities of WWII and brought many Nazi officers along with him?

Cleaning up misuse according to [1] Trope Repair Shop thread. Fandom Berserk Button is for objective misconceptions

* FandomBerserkButton:
** Some members of the fanbase absolutely ''detest'' the term "Neo-Heisei" on the grounds that the Japanese Emperor who the era is named after isn't dead yet. On top of that, some people get angry if you think there's a dividing point for the Heisei riders at all.
** ''The Number Theory'' oh god the Number Theory. Depending on who you ask the Number Theory is a cool motif that ties the Second-Phase Heisei rider together or ''bullshit that doesn't exist that people keep making huge leaps of logic to confirm''. There is no middle ground. Although as noted above, the theory has largely died out, due to the lack of discussion about tens during the run of ''Build''.
** TV-Nihon subs for a good deal of people. [[TranslationTrainWreck Plagued with inaccuracies]], [[ObligatorySwearing unnecessary swearing]], large amounts of words left untranslated,[[note]]Especially honorifics. An especially egregious moment from their ''Magiranger'' subs left the phrase "O-Baka-Chan-Tachi" in completely untranslated.[[/note]] overly flashy typeset attacks and transformation phrases, and horribly ugly ''color coded'' hardsubbed subtitles mean that they're a source of ire for a good chunk of Rider fans. There have been edit wars on Wiki/ThisVeryWiki based on conflicts between TV-N and other subgroups. Some people think the group is just fine, and others think of TV-N as a cancer on the fanbase.
** On a non-internal conflict note, Saban's ''Masked Rider''. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who enjoys ''Kamen Rider'' who likes ''Masked Rider''. Depending on who you're talking to, saying you like it might be a gigantic mistake.

* EpilepticTrees: One of the longer-running ones is the Neo-Heisei number theory. The first few such series (''Double'' to ''Fourze'') had very clear numerical themes, with the Riders using specific numbers of {{Transformation Trinket}}s at once and having a name that reflects said number, incremented by one every year (Decade - one card, Double - two Memories, OOO - three Medals, Fourze - four Switches). A number of fans believe the theory that Toei kept on incorporating the theme on even when the naming/number-of-trinkets aspect was dropped, though just as many think that said believers are [[SharpshooterFallacy only seeing the theme numbers because they want to find the theme numbers, not because said numbers are there on purpose]].

A number of fans believe the theory that Toei kept on incorporating the theme on even when the naming/number-of-trinkets aspect was dropped, Rider's name and number of trinkets didn't reflect it, though just as many think that said believers are [[SharpshooterFallacy only seeing the theme numbers because they want to find the theme numbers, not because said numbers are there on purpose]].purpose]]. Thankfully, the theory died down over time, as there was little discussion over any presence of tens in ''Build''.
