* BrokenBase: While most agree that it is a fantastic story, there are quite a number of readers who are not happy with the turn the story has taken following the introduction of the very cliched and Bond-villain esque antagonist Bridges, especially with how much it starts to focus on him and his few good attributes.

* DracoInLeatherPants:
** [[spoiler: Dr. Wu, who was responsible for Elise's mistreatment, is revealed to have [[BatmanGambit planned Elise's rampage]] to prevent [=InGen=] and others from exploiting her, and to keep Hammond's ideas alive]].
** The author seems to have a thing for portraying Bridges as far more sympathetic than he comes across, such as showing him struggling with inner demons, the strain he's put under as leader of a major company, the love he feels for his mother... while having him feeding his enemies to a Spinosaurus, abusing an [[spoiler: Indomitus]], killing people, insulting people, exhibiting frightening sociopathic tendencies, and worse.
** Elise gets this early on, as the author appears to want to erase anything negative about the ''Indomitus Rex''. Most notoriously, the story about her having eaten her sister is transformed into [[spoiler:her loving her sister dearly, keeping her sister's skeleton around as a MoralityPet, and the "eating her" thing being slander]] - a change many readers considered laughably on-the-nose.

* GrowingTheBeard: The story, which some would argue used to be rather naive and reached the levels of DracoInLeatherPants when it came to Elise (the cringe-worthy Petting Zoo subplot comes to mind) has since become darker and more mature, with realistic consequences from Elise's actions from ''Jurassic World'' and more serious antagonists. If one arc had to be picked, it would be the Paintballer arc; while connected to the Petting Zoo plot, the climax shows off Elise's skills to the park as a whole, starting off the ACU storyline and allowing the character of Bridges to be introduced, coinciding with the aforementioned darkening of the story, the introduction of Blake, and the Spinosauruses.

** You think that's bad? Just read [[WouldHurtAChild Chapter 72]]. Needless to say, Hart's [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge attack on Bridges and Jack]] is ''very'' [[LaserGuidedKarma deserved]].
** Chapter 74. [[spoiler: Bridges had a third Indominus- or rather, an Indomi''tus'' the whole time, keeping it hidden away. He did this by damaging its vocal cords so it couldn't roar. He then kept it in total isolation for its entire life, possibly in terrible conditions considering that the chief vet never knew about it, and given that there are several unhealed wounds on the creature.]]

* BetterThanCanon: There are multiple readers who consider this fanfic to be superior to the 2015 blockbuster it was based off of, arguably in large part due to its depth and the substantial character development that Elise undergoes.

* AuthorAvatar: Half of Lowery's lines and basically all of the unnamed Control Room members' lines is basically Skulls speaking to the fans.
* AscendedFanon: More like Fanon of a Fanon. An artist, Blackdragon, made a picture of Elise, Rexy and the raptors sleeping in their nest. Come Chapters 36 and 63, and the scene actually does happen (albeit briefly in the case of Chapter 63).
