** The Overseers have Lilariah. When she comes into a combat zone, all angels recieve flying, allowing them to bypass most defenses and directly hit the opponent's fortress. Given the Overseers' consisting completely of angels and its token production abilities, it's easy to amass an army of flying angels. Even worse though is Azael, the Overseer's "titan" card. It costs 35 to play usually, but it's reduced by the amount of damage taken the previous turn. Not only does it give angels flying, it also gives them untouchable, which makes them immune to cards that target like Death Rays.

Not ymmv

* LethalJokeCharacter: The Bad-Bot a huge 15/15 artificial character costing a mere 4 resource... that can't attack or block (apparently it's afraid of combat). Apparently useless- if it weren't for the fact that one of the primary Genesis strategies is to use the Secluded Constructor to graft the stats of their mechanical characters (plus a small bonus) onto other characters. That useless 15/15 becomes a frightening +16/+16 bonus to ANY character the Genesis player feels like hitting you with, for a ridiculously economical cost.

One Of Us is now Just For Fun per this TRS thread. Also not a YMMV trope.

* OneOfUs: The developers were quite upfront about the fact that the reason they're making an expansion based on ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration'' is simply because they're huge nerds and ''love'' TNG.

Also, due to a bug in the game as of writing, it also gives itself untouchable, meaning that the only things that can stop it are cards that don't target like mass death, or by blocking it with something that also flies (assuming that it can survive long enough to even be able to block it).

* {{Gamebreaker}}: Pretty much every faction has a couple strategies that are impossible to defeat without a few very specific counters.
** Genesis Industries can use the [[http://infinity-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Secluded_Constructor Secluded Constructor]] to sacrifice a character to give another a power boost. Not only can this be done as many times per turn as you have resources for it, the [[http://infinity-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Unending_Drone Unending Drone]] will continually resurrect as long as you have at least one in play. Hello, infinite power loop.
** The Sleepers of Avvarach have a number of cards that improve the more are destroyed. [[http://infinity-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Endless_Horde Endless Horde]] gets a 1/1 bonus per Endless Horde card in the graveyard, and [[http://infinity-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Zombie_Scavenger Zombie Scavenger]] gets a 2/2 bonus every time an undead character under your control dies. Not to mention that half the cards in the faction self-resurrect after a few turns. If your opponent doesn't have some way of cleaning out your graveyard, it's very very difficult to stop.
** The Cult of Verore give us the [[http://infinity-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Verore_Death_Worshipper Verore Death Worshipper]], who gains 2/2 every time an enemy character is defeated. Combine with the factions love of wide-scale spells like [[http://infinity-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Heat_Wave Heat Wave]] and [[http://infinity-wars.wikia.com/wiki/Mass_Death Mass Death]], as well as the fact that most of the other factions like using lots of cheap and weak cards, and you can have a dozen cheap characters with 30/30 in just a couple turns.
