** Otis is in some ways worse than Henry himself. While Henry throughout comes across as a person who is severely psychologically damaged and has a compulsion for killing, Otis is (relatively) a much more normal person who begins to actively enjoy taking part in murders.

** The scene where [[spoiler: Otis tells Becky that she looks terrible.]] It's comforting to see Otis not shy away from his opinions in a climate of such division. He is honest and truthful in his every action until the end.

And the worst part is, unlike Henry, Otis enjoys doing horrible things to people, an attitude that culminates in him raping Becky. Ultimately, Otis is a pathetic, vile monster of a man that overshadows Henry's own brutality.
