* MemeticTroll: During the collapse of Channel Awesome in April 2018, Larry deliberately chose to stay until the end as a jab at how the channel did nothing to promote him despite joining so early on, [[WhileRomeBurns while also making fun of them constantly on Twitter]]. People watching the incident unfold were quick to worship Larry as a massive {{Troll}}. Under normal circumstances, Channel Awesome would have fired him for badmouthing them, but the fact that they have allowed him to stay just goes to show you how desperate they were for content.

People watching the incident unfold were quick to worship Larry as a massive {{Troll}}. Under normal circumstances, Channel Awesome would have fired him for badmouthing them, but the fact that they have allowed him to stay just goes to show you how desperate they were for content. He finally announced that he "left" the channel in February 2024, when the website in fact ceased to exist and became a redirect for Channel Awesome's [=YouTube=] account.

Now an index disallowing examples.

* AcceptableTargets:
** Creator/PeterMolyneux, Tim Langdell, and Ocean Software. Larry ''will'' find a way to poke fun at Molyneux in each "Fact Hunt" video, even when he's cutting him some slack by [[InsultToRocks finding something so stupid that it makes him look good in comparison]].
*** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9k3RdfJ2U8 "5 Times Peter Molyneux Was an Asshole"]] is an entire video justifying why Larry takes a shot at him in every video, but proving exactly why he's an acceptable target.
** [[https://youtu.be/luVcW0nMzyk "Top 5 Game Developer Meltdowns"]] also has its intro compilation consist of games that Molyneux had a hand in developing.
** Another frequent punching bag is [=DarkSydePhil=].
** Larry isn't very fond of WebVideo/PatTheNesPunk.
** Larry is amongst the many who like mocking [[Webcomic/{{Sonichu}} Chris-Chan]], having even interviewed Chris for a video.

Moving to Trivia

* AuthorsSavingThrow: The Peter Molyneux running joke was often [[BrokenBase divisive]] due to how overused and personal it was. Episodes in 2018 to 2019 saw the joke being used more and more sparingly, and Larry admitted that the joke ran its course in the comments for "4 Games Changed Because Publishers Think Americans are Stupid" (and audibly holds back making a joke about him when he brings up who came up with the idea for Laura Croft's name to be shortened to [[Franchise/TombRaider Lara Croft]]).

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: In his "5 American/British Video Games That Were 'Anime'd' in Japan" video, he states that the Japanese DolledUpInstallment version of ''VideoGame/TheUnholyWar'' is based on an anime called "Magical Girls". Magical girls is the name of a genre, not the title of an anime. The game is a MassiveMultiplayerCrossover of various classic MagicalGirl series.

* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: In [[Webvideo/CinematicVenom Rob Boor's (Cinematic Venom)]] documentary ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8yrXbHtW6s The Downfall of Change the Channel]]'', he revealed that Larry was one of few people who checked in on him when he was going through a very dark place as a result of the drama surrounding the moment. The {{irony}} being that one of the only two remaining Channel Awesome producers did so, while the former producers did nothing.

Not YMMV.

* PetTheDog: Despite all the times he's taken a shot at Peter Molyneux, even he had to defend the guy in his video about the companies EA brought and Destroyed.
