The fact that there's an EliteMook variant that spits acid to attack from a distance also doesn't help, and both kinds frequently show up as a mixed SwarmOfRats that can and will tear through poor Vinnie's health in a matter of seconds. * ThatOneBoss: In the first game, Mickey the giant rat. The area where it shows up is full of toxic water and the rat has multiple attack moves, to say nothing of the constantly spawning smaller rats.

However, it is not known if he remembered to destroy the secret base and all the zombie poison in it so that nobody could continue making a zombie army.

* AwesomeArt: The game series' sprites and backgrounds are hand-drawn and they're pretty well-drawn at that. The fact that the artists who did this game series also made a good animated short film helps plenty.
