* TearJerker:
** The climax of "Goth to Have Friends". Feeling ignored by Budge, Creepie makes friends with the local goth kids, and offers to help meet their favorite band, the Hissing Cockroaches. Unfortunately for them, the Hissing Cockroaches are [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin actual hissing cockroaches]]. They run off before they could know that, leaving a saddened Creepie alone to be comforted by her bug friends. Fortunately, her and Budge start hanging out again by the end of the episode. Though Creepie does befriend the goth kids again in "Going For Brogue".
** Creepie herself is a walking tearjerker; she's constantly bullied at school for her looks, and has very few friends. Not to mention she has no idea where her biological parents are and has to constantly save her bug family from being slaughtered by her friend's exterminator father. It becomes bittersweet when she does gain a relationship with Tarantula Boy aka Skipper.

* NightmareFuel: "Creepie's [[CreepyDoll Living Doll]]". Even if you see coming the usual "bugs hidden in an inanimate object" twist, it's hard to blame Creepie for becoming paranoid when the doll appears ''everywhere she goes''.
