Jamming your hand into a wall two feet away from somebody is not physically abusing them, even if a shard of glass left a small cut on her cheek. Constantly building somebody up and praising their strength is not emotionally abusing them. Also Chuck was most certainly not easily forgiven for trading Blair for the hotel - Blair dumped him and his friends turned their back on him. These things do not fall into YMMV - they are factually incorrect. The example with Blair also conveniently disregards everything bad Dan and Serena does to her. .

Deleted yet another statement that hates on Chuck/Chair with little to no basis in what actually happens.

Seriously, disliking a character or relationship does not automatically make them abusive/misogynistic/etc. Chuck haters seem to love to attribute any nasty habit possible to him but the ones I edited simply do not apply to him if you bother to watch the actual show. Abusive misogynists do not spend most of their time building their partner up and praising their talents and strengths, nor do they over and over again show complete trust in females to do whatever task needs to be done. Picking negative traits at random does not make them actually apply.
