** Serena and Dan after you-know-what revelation. Funnily, this case is both the most absurd and the most in-character - after some {{Flandernization}} Serena's become exactly the kind of person, who would accept any declared "big wuv" regardless of [[StalkingIsLove implications]].

** Blair is on the roof [[spoiler: when Bart died]]. She does achieve her goal of becoming the 'powerful woman' she wanted to become after finally finding a way to be successful in her mother's business. But she never gives up on scheming even after realizing she needs to grow up.

But she never gives up on scheming even after realizing she needs to grow up.

* WhatAnIdiot: Serena spends months doing everything she can to get her father's attention. Most of it consists of getting paparazzi to take pictures of her partying like crazy, appearing topless and sleeping around. Then when her father does appear she doesn't want him to know about her wild past, and pretends like the craziest thing she's ever done is take part in a coco drinking contest. Only to Serena (and possibly Nate) could that make any logical sense.

* WhatAnIdiot: WhatAnIdiot:
** Dan when he's trying to write a story about Chuck. Yes of course, bring along the to-do list spelling out just how he plans to use Chuck so the latter can conveniently find it later.
** Agnes burning Jenny's dresses. Jenny sees Agnes throw her dresses into the garbage can, pour gasoline on them and light a match. Agnes isn't exactly being quick about it, and Jenny just hovers on the spot instead of knocking the match out of Agnes's hand - or tackling her to the ground.

* {{Narm}}: "The Revengers," specifically the rooftop climax. Even ''more'' specifically the hilariously awful scoring from Transcenders as [[spoiler: Chuck faces off against Bart with Blair in attendance, and their fight ends with Bart having a DisneyVillainDeath]]. DannyElfman it isn't. It's not even [[{{Series/Arrow}} Blake]] [[Series/NoOrdinaryFamily Lively... er, Neely]].

** As per BaseBreaker, some have jumped to Dan/Blair, as it's free from the whole step-siblings issues that the Dan/Serena ship has, and well, Dan hasn't whored out Blair yet.

* SelectiveSquick: Dan/Serena pairing is seen by some fans as a borderline incest, for being step-siblings and sharing a sibling (despite not being actually related). [[StacysMom Rufus/Vanessa]] is a popular ship despite the fact she used to do both of his biological sons. And there is the Bass family's mess (Elizabeth Fisher was in a relationship with Bart which produced Chuck, and later enters a relationship with Bart's brother and Chuck's uncle Jack, who's slept with his nephew's girlfriend and tried to rape his late brother's widow) which is not portrayed positively, but incestous implications aren't really discussed.

** A non-romantic (or only half-romantic) example with the gang vs. Jenny and Vanessa in Season 4. Juliet points to Vanessa, that while [[GetOutOfJailFreeCard Jenny sooner or later would always be forgiven because she's family]], the gang has no reason to do the same for Vanessa. And indeed, even Dan disowns her.

And the season that follows. [[RuleOfThree And the third one]]. [[FromBadToWorse ''Especially'' the third one]].
