* {{Retcon}}: Wearing the necklace gives Melissandre her youthful appearance, However, in "Mockingbird", we see her minus the necklace and still in her youthful form.
** She was mentioned to have used potion and illusion extensively. So this can be easily HandWaved.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: Despite all the issues listed below, the episode does at least address one fan complaint by explaining the absence of Edd and anyone else who would have objected to the mutiny: It was done very late at night while they were asleep.

And Ghost was shown being able to sense its owner demise but powerless to do anything because he was caged up. Much like his brother Grey Wind.

Then we're treated to Nymeria trying one-on-one combat in closed quarters with a whip, only to get cockblocked by her older sister. At least she got to say another B-movie one-liner
-->"You're a greedy bitch, you know that?"

to:

** Ramsay's attempts to mourn grief for Myranda are this, especially almost makes you feel sorry for his line loss, if mourner and mournee weren't such despicable characters. What happens next can only be summarized as ''"Ok, that's enough humanizing for today, back to give Myranda's "good meat" business!"'', when Ramsay orders her body to the dogs. be butchered for meat.

soon after they were seen at the shore.
** Olly's smug expression of righteousness. Compounded by the fact that the camera repeatedly turns to him during Thorne's MotiveRant, despite him doing nothing but that one expression in any of the focus shots.

Misuse. Hate Sink is not subjective, and it is not "The Scrappy But Moreso". It is a character that the writers *intend* to be despised by the audience. Getting more Character Focus may make them a Creators Pet, but that remains to be seen.

* HateSink: Ellaria and the Sand Snakes have gone from TheScrappy to this, after have usurped their kingdom and murdered their liege and his son (aka the only Martells people liked) in cold blood and gloating about their murders. Fans are hoping for the resurrected Mountain to come to Dorne and finish them off.

** Ser Alliser Thorne states that his reasons for betraying Jon Snow was that he left the Wildlings through the Wall. Which begs the question, if his plan was to betray Jon Snow why did he let him and all those Wildlings through the Gate, and ''then'' stab the only man the Wildlings will listen to. Viewers hoping for an AuthorsSavingThrow (Such as news of Stannis' defeat forcing his hand), were left scratching their heads at the depths of his stupidity.

It doesn't help that his justification boils down to a SlipperySlopeFallacy [[note]]Stating that since Jon let the Wildlings through the wall, this will all ultimately lead to the downfall of the Night's Watch.[[/note]]

During the Season 4 episode "Mockingbird", Melissandre is bathing and talking to Selyse Baratheon. Melissandre is naked, minus the necklace (she's not holding it in either hand), and still looks like Clarice von Houten

* FridgeHorror: Melisandre has seduced countless men to serve her magic, all while being a saggy old crone in disguise. Aside from the fact that this is squicky by itself (not that there's anything morally wrong with seniors being sexually active...), her glamour very likely messed with her targets' heads further than just by making her more physically appealing, actually crossing the line to 'rape by deception'.

** Trystane does not behave pragmatically at all when confronted by the Sand Snakes. In particular, side-stepping so that he would be standing directly in front of one of them, back turned to her, left him extremely vulnerable for attack.
