** "ADELE IS FAT" saw the introduction of Frank's trademark hairdo, and it was also the point where Frank began using his iconic GutturalGrowler voice all the time. Prior to this episode, Frank had another more regular voice, and he started using his growling voice on occasion.

* AvoidTheDreadedGRating: To ensure that every track on "Pink Season" gets an explicit label, "Dog Festival Directions" has only two "shit"s, while "We Fall Again" has "fucking", despite both of them being extremely tame songs for the album.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The moment in "Jungle Boy" where Pink Guy is incoherently screaming.

The moment in "Jungle Boy" where Pink Guy is incoherently screaming.

* AcceptableTargets: ''Everyone''. As Frank summarized in his philosophy: [[EqualOpportunityOffender "Everyone gets shit."]]
** When it comes to Frank's "30 different cultures" videos...
*** Many jokes are made about Myanmar.
*** "Nobody gives a shit about Belgium."
*** To the USA: "No one likes you guys!"

* OvershadowedByControversy: {{Subverted}}. While Filthy Frank is known by some for his crude humor, he unfortunately gotten a lot of bad traction from press media after a clip on how to commit suicide was use on a video that a mother complained after her kid watched. The fans of the show couldn't have cared less and it blew over quite quickly.

** Related to the two above, when a few newer fans of Joji found out about his past as Filthy Frank, they tried to cancel him on Twitter. The dormant fanbase all rose to defend Filthy Frank and Joji at lightning speeds.

* MisaimedFandom: Filthy Frank, the character, is supposed to be an exaggerated portrayal of an incredibly crass and tasteless "edgelord", constantly spewing out politically-incorrect observations and tons of shock humor. Unfortunately, a majority of his fanbase thinks Joji is playing everything straight, rather than it being a character, and eat everything up without seeing the irony. Joji, himself, recognizes that Filthy Frank's fanbase is the exact type of group of people he's trying to parody, which may contribute to why he wants to distance himself from the persona.

*** A bit of adding to the "FILTHY FRANK EXPOSES HIMSELF" video, Joji himself discusses his health condition that he has and while stressing it isn't serious, it is a bit more eerie considering it was one of the factors that lead to him ending the series. Not helped when Frank furiously asks Joji if he wants him to quit, only for Joji to respond with a surprised "No, No! Of course not, I never want you guys to quit!"...which is exactly what Joji would later on due because of said health reasons ''and'' his eventual disillusionment with the series (and Youtube's eventual tendencies of screwing content creators that had certain content not in their algorithm not helping the channel either).
