* CrowningMomentOfFunny: Marc Anthony's [[http://www.byrnerobotics.com/forum/uploads/TimONeill/2011-08-07_102041_who_me.jpg "Who, me?" face]] when he hides Pussyfoot in the cupboard. According to his autobiography, Chuck Jones drew ''at least'' a hundred versions of that face before getting it just right.

* CrossesTheLineTwice: Marc Anthony's trauma over the (supposed) death of his beloved kitten, then getting salt rubbed in his wounds when his mistress gives him a kitten-shapped cookie, unaware of it's sentimental value. Unintentional sadness or not, it's still just so brutal that it's hard not to laugh at least a little. It does help that, unlike Marc Anthony, we saw Pussyfoot climb off the cookiedough batter and know he is safe.

* TastesLikeDiabetes: Possibly Jones' cutesiest short since his Sniffles period, albeit with far more depth.

** Well, one could still see it as funny since the audience knows Pussyfoot is just fine and Marc Anthony is crying for nothing.
*** DramaticIrony is OlderThanRadio.
*** Better yet -- [[TakeAThirdOption it's both]]. One certainly feels sorry for Marc Antony's real pain, but that just makes it all the funnier -- and the joyful ''[[MoodWhiplash peripeteia]]'' when he learns that Pussyfoot is alive [[CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming more cathartic.]]
