Regardless of whether it's supposed to be FanService or actually intended as FanDisservice, the whole thing ends up looking rather [[{{Narm}} comical]].
* FoeYay: Leo, with the protagonists, [[spoiler: ''especially'' after they beat his brother and when they're both in the finals.]] He's rather excited at the thought of fighting them.

* HilariousInHindsight: This game ''almost'' answers the infamous Nasuverse PowerLevels question: [[spoiler: "Can [[VisualNovel/{{Tsukihime}} Shiki]] kill [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Servants?]]"]]. The reason this is an "almost" is because [[spoiler: the Shiki is ''[[LightNovel/KaraNoKyoukai Ryougi]]'' [[LightNovel/KaraNoKyoukai Shiki]], and the Moon Cell isn't exactly the Holy Grail of the original series.]]
** Likewise a common question raised by fans is who would win between Gilgamesh and Karna. The game ''almost'' answers this because [[spoiler: Karna is suffering from ''two'' [[DramaPreservingHandicap Drama Preserving Handicaps]] due to not having his armor and having the worst Master in the franchise, and Gilgamesh has yet to reveal Ea when they fight.]]

* HoYay: Some minor examples between a male MC and Archer, such as Dan's Archer making pointed comments about 'domestic strife' and the Week 7 Day 2 scene still playing out like a LoveConfession, though it's downright mild compared to the below; possibly [[spoiler: FoeYay between a male MC and Julius]], if you've got your ShippingGoggles on. Ronnie's Lancer, on the other hand, is as forthright with the Ho Yay - upon being confronted with the playable Archer - as you'd expect from his other lines.

* LauncherOfAThousandShips: At [[http://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread.php/133-Insert-title-here-a-tribute-to-the-protagonists-of-fate-extra this point]], the female MC has been paired with ''everyone else in the entire franchise''.[[note]][[JustForPun Master Of A Thousand Servants?]][[/note]] So much that people started saying that she's inherited the [[VisualNovel/{{Tsukihime}} Tohno]] [[MemeticMutation Gland]].

* TheScrappy: Gawain, for [[http://i.imgur.com/GM5Ls.png being a real dick to all three playable Servants]], historical accuracy be damned.

* WakeUpCallBoss: Rider in the first game is the first boss you face but one of the hardest because you'll likely be not used to the game yet and be adjusting only for her to kick your ass if you failed to beat Shinji and her in the treasure event. Her punishing physically attacks can destroy a GlassCannon build character in one turn and her Noble Phantasm is a nightmare.

If you don't block, you take a good amount of damage, and since she's already a WakeUpCallBoss, it means you'll likely be having issues trying to keep your HP up to survive.

Even more hilarious, Gilgamesh's relationship with Hakuno is the [[CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming most developed relationship in the game]].

The second time though she has way more skills, higher attack damage, and her Noble Phantasm becomes used nearly right away. It's Curse debuff is unfair too and she's easily a jump in difficulty compared to the other bosses.

** It was a minor meme to refer to Sakura in the ''Heaven's Feel'' route of the original FateStayNight as an "erotical black hole". Guess what the TrueFinalBoss's Noble Phantasm in CCC, a game which places quite a lot of focus on Sakura, basically is.
