** Related to the above: The game shows the date, time and current temperature whenever a new scene occurs. These can get somewhat outlandish at times, with one endgame sequence apparently occurring with an outside ambient temperature of ''negative 77 degrees Fahrenheit'' (later ports of the game use °F instead of the °C of the original). While it's possible for the human body to survive in these temperatures, doing so for prolonged periods requires much heavier clothing than that worn by the characters in the scene- unless one {{hand|Wave}}waves it with, "[[AWizardDidIt It's chroma magic,]] I ain't gotta explain it."

* HypeBacklash: Like many David Cage games the years haven't been kind to Fahrenheit. It's been frequently criticized for its plot, being seen as becoming incoherent and convoluted as it goes on.

* UnfortunateImplications: The entire Asylum sequence gets really hard to look at if you have more than a mass-media level knowledge of how mental institutions are run and the plight of the mentally ill in general. As Pat from ''WebVideo/TwoBestFriendsPlay'' put it; "Run! The crazy people are out! Most of whom probably suffer from non-violent mental illnesses!"

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The game features an original score by Angelo Badalamenti, who scored the majority of DavidLynch's films. Not to mention, an impressive roster of cult classic funk/pop/jazz records.

Added DiffLines:

* PortingDisaster: In a possible case of LyingCreator, the UsefulNotes/PlayStation4 rerelease of this game was advertised as both the recent Remastered Edition ''and'' as a PS2-On-PS4 release, with Quantic Dream ensuring fans that it would be the uncut version of the game. When it actually released in the Playstation Store, however, it turned out to just be the existing, editted PS2 version, upscaled and with trophy support, and it brings with it all the problems it had back on PS2 as well as GUI elements improperly stretched for widescreen.
