When his cellmate [[TheDragon Rubin]] tells him about a man on the outside named Ernest, a bank janitor who looks exactly like him, a plan is initiated that results in [[SwappedRoles Nash taking Ernest's place]] while [[TitleDrop Ernest goes to jail]], now about to be executed for horrific crimes he didn't commit. While on the outside, Nash concocts a plan to rob the bank owners while living Ernest's life. While pretending to be Ernest, he cruelly abuses Ernest's dog Rimshot before finally crossing the MoralEventHorizon by [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil attempting to rape]] Charlotte. In executing his plan to rob the bank, he knocks out Chuck, one of the security guards, doing the same to Charlotte as she arrives, before tying both of them up to a bomb that's about to explode.
