While on the outside, Nash concocts a plan to rob the bank owners while living Ernest's life. In executing his plan to rob the bank, he knocks out Chuck, one of the security guards, doing the same to Charlotte as she arrives, before tying both of them up to a bomb that's about to explode. Even during his final battle with Ernest, he's not above attempting to murder him with electricity, thus cementing his irredeemably monstrous nature.
