* StrawmanHasAPoint: If the above {{Fanon}} applies, Ed's parents were ''right'' to ground him: he broke his mother's teapot and destroyed the plushy bunny Sarah had bought for Jimmy, all to act out a curse he found in a comic book.

Eddy's reason for breaking Ed out wasn't explained, though.

* StrawmanHasAPoint:
** Eddy wanting to bust Ed out of being grounded may have been rather reckless of him, but considering how Ed lives with AbusiveParents and an extremely BrattyHalfPint sister who they favor more than him, it sort of makes sense that he would want to get Ed out of a toxic environment.

A good number of Youtube comments have suggested this, and if they're right, I can't feel too sorry for Ed, which is rare because I usually do.

* TheWoobie: Ed, both because of how sad he is that his parents grounded him and because of how utterly terrified he is of getting caught while Edd and Eddy are trying to sneak him outside.
