* HePannedItNowHeSucks: A [[ZigZaggingTrope zig-zagged]] example. Morgan once made a video stating that they thought ''Sonic Forces'' is better than ''Sonic Mania'', but still thought the latter as a good game in its own right. This ended up being, by far, their most controversial video. Morgan eventually deleted the video (long before they deleted the entire channel). Whether they deleted because they no longer held that view, or because of all the negative comments is anyone's guess.

* HarsherInHindsight: The ''LJN Defender" episode for ''Spirit of Speed: 1937'' opens with Matt somberly welcoming his viewers to "the end" before an In Memoriam screen for the show comes up, implying the show is ending just before Matt reveals he's only joking and that "the end" he's referring is that of LJN as a company since Spirit of Speed was the last game to have the LJN label and reassurring the viewer that he still has plenty of games to review before ''LJN Defender'' actually ends. The show never saw a proper ending as Matt stopped making videos for the ''Cygnus Destroyer'' channel and later deleted it altogether.

* GrowingTheBeard: The LJN Defender had its own followers, but things ''really'' got interesting when Innocent Until Proven Guilty made its debut.

* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: He took an analysis of ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2006'' in his ''Innocent Until Proven Guilty'' series, having a ''far'' more optimistic opinion of the story and ambition of the project (though he still found the super speed sections and glitches frustrating). In the end, his verdict of the game was ''Innocent''. Really says something about a person's attitude when they can stomach such an infamous game.

This is Flame Bait now.

* SnarkBait: At first. When starting out, trying to find the good in LJN games would have been unthinkable to many, given the [[WebVideo/TheAngryVideoGameNerd Angry Video Game Nerd's]] hatred for them. However, The LJN Defender's refreshing take on reviewing the games plus his healthy attitude grew onto many.

Internet Backdraft is now Flame Bait and being dewicked per TRS.

* InternetBackdraft: His claim that VideoGame/SonicForces was better than VideoGame/SonicMania is probably his most divisive video by far. He explains in greater detail in his proper Sonic Forces review, in that he really appreciated Forces' new ideas in spite of its faults, and that Mania was a bit too safe.
