*** Speaking of things which haven't been seen in a while, the 12/8/2011 episode ''finally'' saw a return of the Synchro-Vox/Clutch Cargo interviews, which hasn't been used since the Late Night days. Conan interviewed Donald Trump and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

* HarsherInHindsight: Jon Cryer appeared on the show and cracked about how he had to watch "TMZ to see if I'll be going to work that day"., referring to the frequent troubles of his ''TwoAndAHalfMen'' co-star CharlieSheen. Guess who was hospitalized merely a day later?

* CrazyAwesome: The Christmas decorations, which include KingKong holding Santa's Sleigh, Godzilla with a candy cane, a [=UFO=], "San-magnetron-Claus", the Rabbi Robot (which is inexplicably reading the New Testament), and a giant Christmas Chicken Sandwich!

* EarWorm: Minty the Candy Cane's theme song. "Minty fell on the ground / For just a moment or twooo". Even Conan couldn't get it out of his head.

* PortmanteauCoupleName: "Candy", for Conan/Andy. Brought up by Conan on the 05/11/11 episode while talking with Miranda Kerr.

*** Speaking of things which haven't been seen in a while, the 12/8/2011 episode ''finally'' saw a return of the Synchro-Vox/Clutch Cargo interviews, which hasn't been used since the Late Night days. Conan interviewed Newt Gingrich and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

* CrossesTheLineTwice: The [[TheHumanCentipede Human centipede]] Menorah. Completely hilarious in an "I cna't beleive they actually went there" kind of way.

** Similarly, the sketch "Basic Cable Name That Tune" has the band playing something that sounds like a famous but expensive to license song complete with goofy lyrics that match the meaning of the original, and audience members are asked to guess which song it ''almost'' sounds like.

* BetterThanItSounds: Some of the show's highlights can occur with celebrities you would not otherwise expect.
** One of the show's best interviews to date in this troper's opinion (YMMV) was with [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dV2fvb1EdN8 Julie Bowen]] of {{ABC}}'s ''ModernFamily'', where she described escapades with her children and her dryer and also hit on Michael Cera, the show's other guest that night.

** HarrisonFord came on the show, acting in his usual deadpan style for interviews, and brought along a plush Smurf. Never thought you'd see "Harrison Ford" and "Smurf" in the same sentence? Ford was seemingly upset that ''Film/TheSmurfs'' film had tied with his film, ''CowboysAndAliens'', in the box office during their first weekend of release (they premiered on the same day). Ford proceeded to rip the plush Smurf in half and said he and his family would seek a refund after seeing the film, since they could get into Ford's movie for free.
** A Fan Correction bit had Conan attempting to prove that [[StarTrekTheOriginalSeries the Vulcan salute]] he gave was correct, and not the "classic" one displayed by LeonardNimoy as Mr. Spock. Instead of bringing out Nimoy, Conan brought out [[spoiler: GeorgeTakei, who blithely explained that Nimoy had a "medical condition" that affected his own salute and had no choice but to display it "incorrectly" throughout his tenure as Spock.
