** The Khasi warning Princess Jelhi of the dangers of a ManInAKilt changes his warning from them flashing their bayonets, to them sinking their bayonets into her.
** Brother Belcher's final line becomes "These are the fools to tie up, believe me".

* DesignatedHero: Apparently, the British characters are supposed to be the heroes, but they're always messing up and making Princess Jelhi save them. Most of the movie can basically be described as: "1) British character does something foolish; 2) The Indians plan their vengeance; 3) Princess Jelhi comes to the rescue".
* IconicScene: The dinner party scene, where the British characters keep a StiffUpperLip (with the exception of Brother Belcher, who has a nervous breakdown at the table) and ignore the shelling of the residency coming from the Khasi's forces.

"Idiot Plot" is now Flame Bait.

* IdiotPlot: This movie would probably had a different outcome (or never existed):
** If [[OfficerJerkass S.MJR [=MacNutt=]]] hadn't assigned Widdle as border guard because he simply couldn't stand him, none of this nonsense would've happened. Widdle seeming unsure of what the enemy looked like (meaning a civilian vs soldier) made him an obvious target to everyone. Sure, [=MacNutt=] didn't know that Widdle was in underwear, but he probably knew how incompetent he was. If it was someone else, Widdle wouldn't have been tricked and had his underwear stolen, adding fuel to the enemy's pot.
** If [[AllWomenAreLustful Lady Ruff-Diamond]] had regained self-control around the "attractive" Khasi Randy (seeing how Sidney didn't seem to sexually satisfy her anymore), she wouldn't have taken the picture of the soldiers in underwear, taken it to the enemy in exchange for sex, putting the British in danger.
** The governors are at fault, too. They should've kept an eye on their men and their uniforms to check they were GoingCommando. But then again, what would you expect from governors that barely do anything?
** The rescue party find Lady Ruff-Diamond and the incriminating photo in Bungdit Din's palace. The dungeons are lit with blazing torches, but nobody thinks of using one to burn the photo -- and sure enough, it gets dropped and falls back into the Khasi's hands.
