** Chugga's theory that Wes from ''Colosseum'' [[RogueProtagonist was originally supposed to be the]] BigBad of ''Pokémon XD.'' Unlike many of his other [[ShownTheirWork well-researched]] info about the games he Let's Plays, there doesn't seem to be any WordOfGod anywhere supporting this, and yet Chugga still [[DanBrowned passes it off as fact]].

** Pango and Croque ended up being his least popular villagers in his ''New Leaf'' LP, however many also feel he unfairly chose them as the designated bad guys of the village after bad first impressions and at times had to bend over backwards to keep that narrative going. To anyone that knows how the ''Animal Crossing'' games, his treatment of them is actually very unfair, as what the villagers have as catchphrases are meant to be [[VerbalTic Verbal Tics]] with no ill intent, and other things that they say are not only random, but can easily be seen in a nicer context. He even brings up the random dialogue in regard to Pango in episode 40, saying that he didn't want to talk about that aspect too much in order to keep the "sitcom" feel of the series intact by making the animals seem real. Even taking this into account that one is supposed to treat the villagers with established personalities, some still feel he treated them a bit unfairly, as he seemed to be intentionally twisting whatever they said to be as negative as possible[[note]]For example, Croque mistakes him for a ghost after he returns from his long absence in Welcome Amiibo and begs him to leave him alone, and Chuggaa interprets this as Croque wishing death on him. Before that, Pango writes him a letter asking if he'd like to hang out with her and Chuggaa jumps to the conclusion that she's trying to mug him.[[/note]], on several occasions even shooting Croque down or not acknowledging it whenever he actually said something nice or attempted to befriend Emile. Towards the end of the series, however, he did come to accept Croque's catchphrase as just something he says without any ill intent.

* AcceptableTargets: ''VideoGame/PaperMarioStickerStar'', which he will take a jab at every opportunity he can possibly get due to it being his most hated game of ''all time.'' His disdain for the game got to the point where Emile admitted he plans to intentionally force himself to ''relent'' from mocking it in the Paper Mario 64 Redux.

* AcceptableTargets: ''VideoGame/PaperMarioStickerStar'', which he will take a jab at every opportunity he can possibly get due to it being his most hated game of ''all time.''

** In ''VideoGame/Super Mario Galaxy 2'', the somewhat infamous subject of the game's [[WhatCouldHaveBeen once-planned story]] being scrapped with [[Creator/ShigeruMiyamoto Miyamoto's]] counsel is brought up on multiple occasions, with Chuggaa voicing a distaste for the sequel being a somewhat confusing plot-light reboot of the first game. ** The bad habit Chugga has when he says there's some game elements or extra content that he wants to save for a bonus video, which very often never materializes. One particularly glaring case was during his ''Okami'' playthrough in which he started going through the final demon gate gauntlet for the last stray beads, jokingly calling out his viewers for expecting the next video to be delayed 6 years if it ever comes out at all... it ended up taking ''eight''. [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] in ''VideoGame/LuigisMansionDarkMoon'' by saying that the bonus videos will come and that "This is not ''Okami''." * JustHereForGodzilla: His ''Splatoon'' playthrough combines story mode missions, with multiplayer matches that focus on using a new weapon so viewers learn strategies for it... but most people, upon learning the contents of the playthrough, just come to watch Chugga play online multiplayer Splatoon, especially since all his other projects have been single player games with no real-time interaction with others (bonus videos dedicated to multiplayer modes excluded).

Come the start of his [=YouTube=] career, and he suffered from depression, which he [[StepfordSmiler tried his hardest to mask]], social anxiety, which caused him to wear a mask in public for a couple years, and [[DrivenToSuicide suicidal tendencies]], which he could only cope with due to GallowsHumor. Even as his [=YouTube=] career went further along and he progressively became happier, he had to deal with a life-threatening ear infection, a traumatic experience that caused him to abandon video games for a month, facing his demons by revisiting his father who hadn't changed, and the death of one of his most beloved family members who he wasn't able to visit in time. If he wasn't as [[BornLucky lucky]] as he is, Chugga might've become a [[StrawNihilist very different person]].

** This arguably goes double for the sequel, ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2'', shattering the first game's record in episode count and runtime, ending a year and 4 months after it started at 218 episodes and with a runtime of more than 5 days.

Chugga hasn't named any Pikmin Steve in his ''Pikmin 2'' LP, and heavily implies that he is tired of all the fan attention the throwaway gag got. Though he indirectly made jokes about him during the LP, even in the finale. This trope is officially {{Zig Zagged|Trope}}. Chugga now acknowledges Steve exists, but he has a [[BigNo spirited reaction]] when someone other than himself (usually LetsPlay/ProtonJon) brings it up. He ends up bringing the meme up again in his ''Pokémon Emerald'' LP when he ends up fighting [=PokéManiac=] Steve, especially after this exchange:

** In an ''Animal Crossing: New Leaf'' video, Stinky sneezes in his face and Chugga hopes he's not coming down with some kind of "kitty flu" and talks about how unsanitary Stinky might be due to all the bacteria growth underneath his mask. Chugga ends up getting sick during the LP, and then there was his absurdly long infection during ''Xenoblade''.

** He repeatedly talks about how nobody remembers ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiPartnersInTime'' in his playthough of it. In the March 2018 Nintendo Direct, a 3DS remake of ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiBowsersInsideStory'' was announced, skipping ''Partners in Time''.

** In an episode of Super Luigi Galaxy, he allegedly face palmed while a Wii Nunchuck was strapped to his wrist and jokingly asks why Nintendo makes their product so durable and [[TemptingFate to make their product "a little crappier"]]. When the Switch was released, there were problems with the controllers' control sticks drifting after around a year of use.

** In the second half of ''Animal Crossing: New Leaf'', his birthday wish is "for my next Let's Play to be a good one". His next LP (not counting ''Pokémon XD'') was ''Xenoblade'' which including postgame took 119 episodes and only 19 of them were post game. There was also his illness putting Xenoblade and his channel in general on hiatus.
