* EnsembleDarkhorse: The Germ Girl from "Adventures in Microbia" is very popular even though she's a minor character. It helps that she's voiced by E.G. Daily.

** Speaking of Molly, Raggatha from ''WebAnimation/TheAmazingDigitalCircus'' is incredibly similar looking. While they're both based on Literature/RaggedyAnn, they do share a few unique features like the mismatched button eyes.

** In the beginning of "Farewell 2 Arms", Molly makes a face that is ''identical'' to the [[https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/pogchamp PogChamp]] meme face, right down to her too doing it out of excitement and surprise. [[https://youtu.be/Tx7vTK1dUk4?si=rBk6-8ditOvh07o8&t=494 Take a look]]. Keep in mind this is a show that came out in 1994, a full 17 years before the video which would birth the [=PogChamp=] face aired.

That trope doesn't exist.

* FridgeHeartwarming: The existence of the Karaoke Cafe; it's shown to be a genuine neutral zone, a place that all the toys, monsters and other assorted creepy-crawlies can just come to in order to hang out and enjoy themselves no matter how they may or may not get on outside. It helps emphasize that, as weird as they and however much they may quarrel, the assorted house-dwellers are a community, and the fact he opened up his own territory under the bed for this purpose really says a lot about Mr. Bumpy's hidden heart of gold. And the Karaoke Cafe shows up in several episodes, so it's actually canon to the show's internal universe, it's not just an excuse for the musical numbers that play in most episodes.

* FridgeHorror: The "Comfort Schmumfort" song involves Molly being fed up with being the one everyone goes to lean on when they need medical attention or cheering up and wanting to have some free time for a change. Everyone else makes no effort to treat/cheer up themselves, and eventually Molly feels so bad for them that she treats the injured ones and cheers up the sad ones. This implies two things: one, that Molly will never have any free time, and two, that the others don't know how to treat or cheer up themselves, which has bad implications if Molly were to die or disappear or whatever.

This implies two things: one, that Molly will never have any free time, and two, that the others don't know how to treat or cheer up themselves, which has bad implications if Molly were to die or disappear or whatever. Fortunately, the series proper does show that Molly genuinely loves what she does.
