Not only that, but the only way to summon the taxi driver is by *dancing* in front of the sign, which can be difficult itself if you've aggravated the police enough.
*** You also cannot simply fast travel to locations you've previously visited; the only way for a place to become a fast travel spot is by searching all over the map for one of the aforementioned taxi signs and interacting with it.

That'd be dangerous enough on a stationary target, but throw in the extreme stunts most writers would be doing while trying to elude capture, and those chains are likely to dislocate a limb at best -- and [[NeckSnap at]] [[BodyHorror worst]]...

** The heat mechanic seems standard fare at first, but as you go further into the game the police starts to develop more and more of a hair-trigger to even the most minor of graffiti tagging. It doesn't help either that in a lot of maps there seems to be a severe lack of toilets to be able to hide and change your outfit in to reset the meter, thus forcing you to either waste time looking around for one or just brute force your way through and try to ignore them.

Moving to Nightmare Fuel


* NightmareFuel:
** Shortly after defeating DOT EXE, [[spoiler:the gang's boss is killed by a police sniper. The player is given a [[SarcasmMode lovely]] partial view of his dead, cybernetic face underneath his cyberhead's shattered visor.]]
** The big moment where Faux gets his head chopped off is a surprisingly brutal moment despite it being a ShadowDiscretionShot, in part thanks to just how [[MoodWhiplash sudden]] it is. The shot of Faux's limp, headless body falling alongside Tryce doesn't help.
** [[spoiler: Faux trying to kill Red. He emerges in his new giant robot body, takes Red in his hands, and twists his cyberhead off like he’s uncorking a bottle.]]
** There's a very well-hidden easter egg in Versum Hill where you can visit ''Old'' Amsterdam, which is outright ''buried'' beneath the city with its buildings haphazardly packed between meters-thick layers of dirt. Look around enough and you'll find a ''sarcophagus'' made in the likeness of DJ Cyber's mask. And there are [[EmptyRoomPsych no collectibles whatsoever.]] Who the hell is buried in that thing and what ''happened'' to Old Amsterdam?!
*** [[NightmareRetardant Humor]] kicks in however as the entire area is in the usual bright artstyle and your chosen music still plays as normal. It does feel out of place with only a vague hint of it existing but instead of nightmarish it just comes across as a very goofy aside.
** The maze inside Pyramid Island is its own class of creepy. And there are [[EmptyRoomPsych no collectibles whatsoever.]] Who the hell is buried in that thing and what ''happened'' to Old Amsterdam?!
*** [[NightmareRetardant Humor]] kicks in however as the entire area is in the usual bright artstyle and your chosen music still plays as normal. It does feel out of place with only a vague hint of it existing but instead of nightmarish it just comes across as a very goofy aside.
