** The assassin and [[CannibalismSuperpower Eater]] Shenkt is a former disciple of the monstrously evil Bayaz and dedicates his life to [[ALighterShadeOfBlack destroying what his mentor has built]]. In the guise of the Bone Thief, Shenkt rescues the crippled Monza Murcatto after Bayaz's pawn Duke Orso leaves her for death and nurses her back to heath, setting her to take revenge on Orso to serve his purposes while Shenkt allows Orso to hire him so he can [[PlayingBothSides play every side]] and clandestinely assist in keeping Monza alive. When revealing himself, Shenkt turns out to have been opposing Bayaz so subtly for so long that his nemesis is not even aware he still lives. A deadly assassin with a conscience, Shenkt also genuinely loves his wife and their children, constantly arranging the chessboard Bayaz has set up to stymie his hated foe.

** [[FourStarBadass General Ganmark]] is Grand Duke Orso's [[TheDragon right-hand man]] and top strategist, who has conquered a vast majority of Styria in Orso's name. Ganmark has run a variety of successful campaigns and sieges that have resulted in regular conquest, all as he amassed the [[WickedCultured treasured art]] of the fallen cities to add to his collection. When Monza tries to ambush him due to his part in her brother's death, Ganmark sees her coming and near-effortlessly duels her and Nicomo Cosca at the same time, delivering a harsh verbal deconstruction and beatdown to Monza the whole time.

* NightmareFuel: with a decent helping of ParanoiaFuel. Morveer's unable to get the drop on the banker Mauthis himself so what does he do? [[spoiler: He poisons ''every bank ledger'' he can get his hands on. Sure enough it gets Mauthis, along with dozens of innocent and unaware bank employees and customers]]. Yeeesh...

Fetish Fuel examples aren't allowed even on YMMV pages, and it also seems to lack context.

* FetishFuel: While Monza is disguised as a whore in Cardotti's, a patron sees her maimed hand and regards it as an intriguing novelty.
