Following the band's breakup in 2007, fans and critics started to respect the band's discography. Ever since [[Main/DeadArtistsAreBetter Chris Cornell's death (May 17, 2017)]], retrospective reviews on Audioslave's discography are well-regarded. A special case held for their self-titled debut, which has many of their signature songs and is considered the band's most commercially successful album, having been certified 3x Platinum by the [=RIAA=].
