* LongSongShortScene: A trip to the service menu reveals dozens of awesome tunes of which many are only heard for less than half a minute. The first level, for example, is usually over within twenty seconds but its theme extends far beyond that, and it's awesome.

* LongSongShortScene: A trip to AdaptationDisplacement: An unusual example. ''VideoGame/{{Cyberbots}}'' [[NewWorkRecycledGraphics reuses and alters the service menu reveals dozens of awesome tunes of which many are only heard sprites for less than half a minute. lot of the mecha in this game]] for its characters to pilot, and is an entirely different genre, being a one-on-one FightingGame instead of a BeatEmUp with HumongousMecha. However, ask anyone if they recognize where the ''Armored Warriors'' bots came from, and they're more likely to mention ''Cyberbots'', unaware that this game exists.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeArt:
The first level, game's got some really impressive sprite graphics, especially for example, the eponymous mecha.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMoments: Playing with a full three-man party
is usually over within twenty seconds cool enough, but its theme extends far beyond that, boss battles allow for a major force multiplier - a large MetaMecha frame is deployed before the fight starts, and it's awesome.the bots reveal themselves to be CombiningMecha, changing form to link up with the frame to form a massive fighting machine. It can withstand substantial punishment and go toe to toe with the bosses, giving incentive to have two other friends with you!

Wrong Trope page, moving it to Metal Warriors YMMV.

* NightmareFuel: The bonus stage (unlocked by completing the game) is this that borders on NauseaFuel and {{Squick}}. It is a 2-Player duel arena where the players only are a basketball player as Player 1 and a huge basketball that retracts to a head as Player 2. The arena is a sports facility and a destructible path happens to be basketball players on a line-up, if these were destroyed with explosive weapons (or from Player 2's charged shot) these "destructible paths" will explode with only their leg and feet remaining (while the few will be reduced to skeletons still standing on the same pose). This level of violence is a shocking contrast to the rest of the level where the destructible paths are at least fuel tanks and not living, flesh and blood beings.
