** Both of the timelines(Literature/TheFootprintOfMussolini and Literature/TheDeathOfRussia) by board member Sorairo are very polarizing among readers of the site. On one hand one group of readers like the interesting themes and worldbuilding established by both timelines as well some of the bleak premises explored in both timelines. On the other hand, another group of readers despise both timelines for gratuitous mass death, seeming extreme pro-western/pro-AtlanticistIn the sense of ideologically supporting NATO and any geopolitical power blocs led by Western Europe and the United States, not in the Duginite sense political biases to the point of downplaying the horrors of colonialism, the depiction of Russia as falling under the control of genocidal regimes in both leading to allegations of demonizing Russians in general, overuse of controversial Cold War talking pointsspecifically the infamous "Double Genocide" theory and the depiction of Henry Wallace as hopelessly pro-Soviet despite Stalin's atrocities, and in the context of Footprint of Mussolini, perceived excess sympathy for Italian Fascism and other far-right ideologies.
** On the left end of the spectrum, the timeline Literature/RedsARevolutionaryTimeline has fallen under much more scrutiny in recent years despite being very popular in the earlier days of the site, particularly among non-leftist readers. On one end, the timeline's fans enjoy the timeline for being one of the first major alternate history depictions of a socialist America that did not degenerate into totalitarianism as well as a positive depiction of socialism in general compared to most media in spite of the prevalence of anti-socialist Cold War tropes in society. On the other end, the timeline's detractors believe that, all discussions of the viability of socialism aside, more modern timelines featuring a non-authoritarian/non-totalitarian socialist America handles the premise much better and with more nuance, whereas Reds can come off as excessively sectarian and preachy of the positives of socialism to the point of extreme ideological wish fulfillment.

While Sorairo timelines being polarizing is a given, I've seen the anti-reds sentiment pop up multiple times in non-socialist spaces(I've literally been in a discord with ah members and they were circlejerking on "Reds bad") or people finding it to be excessively preachy. Also turns out "Atlanticism" is legitimately a political concept rather than something Dugin cooked up to describe "any regime he dosen't like"
