** Also hilarious in hindsight from that, is Steven did a dance similar to the dance that Music/{{Psy}} did in his song "Gangnam Style." Although, not really given that "Gangnam Style" came out in 2012 and "Dude Looks Like a Lady" came out in 1987.

* UglyGuysHotDaughter: While Steven wasn't that bad looking, LivTyler is stunning.

** Also hilarious in hindsight from that, is Steven did a dance similar to the dance that Music/{{Psy}} in his song "Gangnam Style."

* TheProblemWithLicensedGames: RevolutionX was a big hit on the arcade systems, but when they [[PortingDisaster decided to port it to home systems]], its... everything... took a massive hit.

* TearJerker: The video for "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing", at the very end, has Liv Tyler reaching out to touch Steven Tyler (her father) through the TV monitors, before the band's performance goes to static. Considering this is from [[{{Armageddon}} the movie]], she looks heartbroken... and considering that Liv didn't even know Steven was her father until she was nine...
** In terms of their music, "Janie's Got a Gun" and "Uncle Salty" are big time {{Tear Jerker}}s when you [[AbusiveParents pay attention to the lyrics]].
** "Hole in My Soul" also deserves a mention. The music video sums a lot showing nerdy guy getting heartbroken thanks to [[AlphaBitch spoiled popular girls]] and abusive [[JerkJock jocks]].
** When played in the right context, "Dream On" can be one.

* StuckInTheirShadow: Aerosmith is divided by fans into the Toxic Twins (frontman Steven Tyler and lead guitarist Joe Perry) and the Less Interesting Three or [=LI3=] (rhythm guitarist Brad Whitford, bassist Tom Hamilton and drummer Joey Kramer).

* BreakawayPopHit: "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" is from ''{{Armageddon}}''. As well as their cover of "[[Music/TheBeatles Come Together]]" from the ''[[Film/SgtPeppersLonelyHeartsClubBand Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band]]'' film.

Also, AmericanIdol: excellent PR move or terrible sell-out move for Steven? You decide.

* FetishFuel: Since Steven's debut on American Idol, more than a few teenage girls have admitted he's made them have a thing for older men. Make of that what you will.
** Not helped by the fact that Steven imitates some very sexual sounding moans in "Walk on Water."
