Once again, the Miz as WWE champ is overlooked.

This led to a reunion between the Hounds of Justice and a match with the Miz and the Bar at ''TLC 2017''. Wanting to make sure he wins, Miz makes the match into a 5-3 handicap match, receiving help from two monsters, Kane and Brown Strowman. Unfortunately, the Miz's team still lost the match. He continued to feud with them into 2018, dropping his title to Reigns and regaining it back from him, before losing it again to Rollins at ''[=WrestleMania=]''. This finally ended when Miz was moved to ''[=SmackDown=]'' in the 2018 Superstar Shake-Up and then failed to win it back from Rollins both at ''Greatest Royal Rumble'' and at ''Backlash''.
