** The following year, ''WM'' was in Anaheim, CA. Kane and Wrestling/{{Rikishi}} d. [[Wrestling/{{DGenerationX}} X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse Jammes]]. After the match, Rose, appropriately, [[BatterUp tried attacking Kane with a bat.]] He failed, of course. Kane chokeslammed Rose and Rikishi gave him the [[AssKicksYou Stinkface]], which Wrestling/JimRoss compared to Rose's treatment by Major League Baseball Commissioner [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bud_Selig Bud Selig]].[[note]](Rose had been banned from baseball in 1989 by then-commissioner Bart Giamatti {yes, Creator/PaulGiamatti's dad} due to his betting on games. Selig maintained the ban until his retirement in 2015, and it continues to this day under current commissioner Rob Manfred.)[[/note]]

** A commercial for the 2002 ''No Mercy'' [=PPV=] featured a series of trick-or-treating kids dressed as various Superstars knocking on Rose's door, only to have him insult them and slam the door in their faces. Then he opens the door to discover that his latest caller is [[OhCrap Kane]]. The camera cuts away briefly, there's a loud thud, and the camera cuts back to Rose lying on some smashed pumpkins, presumably the aftermath of a chokeslam.

* IHaveNoSon: Wrestling/PaulBearer has disowned Kane for the most part, siding against him at ''[=WrestleMania=] XX''; when he returned in September 2010 prior to ''Hell in a Cell'', he sided with Undertaker again. [[spoiler: This, however, did not last. Maybe he sees Kane as his son after all.]]

* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Apparently Kane has attracted his share of women during his WWE career, including Tori, Lita, and AJ does, Lee, despite Kane being, to put it as nicely as possible, an unhinged, demonic monster who hides his face at least.almost all times; hell, according to Kane, "chicks dig the mask."

** One the January 17, 2005 episode of ''Raw'', Kane delivered an absolutely brutal chokeslam to Trish Stratus when she cut a promo insulting his [[{{kayfabe}} then-wife]], Lita, when most male wrestlers would have let the women handle it between themselves.
