** Kyoko Inoue and Aja Kong were almost the same size (Kong being a little bigger) and had a similar look (light hair, facial markings) that putting them against each other just seemed natural. Kyoko also happened to be half of the responsible pair who shaved Aja Kong and Bison Kimura, so that helped too. Oh and Double Kong, that name wasn't chosen by coincidence as "Double Inoue" had long been running. For most of the same reasons that pitting against them seemed natural also worked for putting them together. They do have a lot in common but not to the extent people are ever going to confuse which is which.

* CombinationAttack: Aja Kong jumps on Hiroyo Matsumoto's back, causing the enemy to suffer a 300+ lbs senton. At ''Oz Academy Stand by my Woman'' Ran [=YuYu=] jumped on as well, allowing Matsumoto to give Mayumi Ozaki a [[CharlesAtlasSuperPower 400+ lbs butt drop]].

For more regular partners, the bubbly, annoyingly optimistic near PerpetualSmiler Hiroyo Matsumoto is probably the best candidate.

* DefeatingTheUndefeatable: She ended Bull "boss of the world" Nakano's ''three year reign'' as the WWA world heavy weight champion (though she had to lose a couple times first). Later defeating Aja Kong herself would be considered this trope (unless you were Bull Nakano, presumably)

** Lioness Asuka's Super Star Unit with Akira Hokuto and Las Cachorras Orientales

** KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles with Danshoku Dino and Makoto Oishi

** Aja Kong has backhanded Toshiyo Yamada to into submission ''a lot''. Yamada has been able to beat Kong when it ''really'' mattered though, often teamed with Kong's own partner Kyoko Inoue or arch nemesis Manami Toyota. Aja Kong and Toshiyo Yamada made a decent team too.

* ArchEnemy: Wrestling/ManamiToyota is by far her most faced foe. They have had {{enemy mine}} periods that lead to them teaming up but it usually doesn't workout and always manages to be broken up even when it does.
