* ''Film/StarTrekVITheUndiscoveredCountry'': With Klingon Chancellor Gorkon opening peace talks between the Klingon Empire and the Federation, a conspiracy of Starfleet and Klingon officers attempts to sabotage the peace talks, with [[spoiler:General Chang's specially-modified bird-of-prey]] firing on ''Kronos One'', Gorkon's ship, so it would seem like the ''Enterprise'' attacked them and giving the Klingons an excuse to instigate war. [[OutOfCharacterMoment However, Kirk, sensing something was amiss, surrenders in an attempt to defuse the situation]], and [[spoiler:Chang]] is forced to resort to XanatosSpeedChess to try to stop Kirk and the peace talks.

Kick The Son Of A Bitch is no longer a trope

* ''Film/CruelIntentions'': In order to goad Ronald into attacking her brother and (indirectly) causing his death, Kathryn claims (over the phone) that Sebastian hit her. (This trope gets twisted around in the movie's original script: Sebastian ''does'' hit Kathryn, [[KickTheSonOfABitch for taunting him]].)

* In the film ''Marshall'' (BasedOnATrueStory), a wealthy woman accuses her chauffeur of raping her and then throwing her off of a bridge. The man's lawyers pick up on major inconsistencies and improbabilities in her story and realize that she had consensual sex with the man, and in a panic over the thought of her infidelity being discovered, tried to kill herself, and when that failed, concocted the rape/attempted murder story for the same reason, knowing full well that the racial difference, class disparity, and [[WhereDaWhiteWomenAt stereotypes about black men]] that were very common at the time (1940s) — and still are — would lead to her being believed rather than him.[[note]] The man was acquitted due to the excellent work of his attorneys. It's film/Blame 2017, not Blame

* Masterfully done in ''Film/Blame17'' by Abigail to Melissa after the later infers that Abigail got her role in the play by sleeping with the Professor. Abigail responds by telling her to shut up, knock everything off her desk and then recoil in the corner like Melissa hit her. This is exactly when the professor returns to class and sends Melissa to detention for harassing Abigail. Even though her friends defend her, Abigail DOES have a relationship with the professor and thus their protests fall on deaf ears. Melissa also digs herself in deeper when her anger issues get the better of her and she screams at the professor.
