Creator/FrizFreleng. Notably, this is the first-released short to be composed entirely by Milt Franklyn as opposed to Carl Stalling, though given the confusing nature of production codes vs. release dates, it's difficult to say whether this was ''the'' first short he ever worked on.

* PragmaticAdaptation: In ''The Bugs Bunny Mystery Special'' (1980), the opening scene where Bugs goes to the bank through the basement vault to get carrots is interspersed with a scene from ''Baby Buggy Bunny'' in which the Tall Dark Stranger robs the bank in place of Rocky and Mugsy, and when Bugs exits the vault and calls a taxi, it is Detective Elmer Fudd who again replaces the same two thugs, mistakes Bugs for the Tall Dark Stranger and arrests him, leading to the events of ''WesternAnimation/BigHouseBunny''.
