* DropTheHammer: Dimitri vs Nelson ends this way.

** The Jolly Pirates have two of them, much like the Straw Hats do. One is [[CrossDresser X Aphro]], (pronounced [[GuideDangIt "Cross Afro,"]]) who fills the role of the ship's doctor, while also going about life as a cross dresser. Due to his AmbiguousGender, Aphro is either a heterosexual man or a homosexual woman. The other is [[ImAManICantHelpIt Drazil]], who would be considered a HornyDevil in every sense of the word if he were literally demonic (he belongs to a race of subterranean islanders known as Hellpieans; humans with demonic features.) Unlike Aphro, who first tries to [[ChivalrousPervert romantically woo the object of his affections before moving on to step 2]], Drazil is blunt and straightforward ([[DoubleEntendre not a euphemism, we promise]].) Drazil will be more than happy to grope any breast he sees and invite any shapely figure to his quarters for the night.

* {{Bishonen}}: Quite a few show up in the different stories that appear across the wiki. Some notable examples include Artemis.D.Falko, Scott.D.Rio, Tidus, Leon Spitman, Apollo, and Nova Blade.

** Representing the Skyline Pirates is Drake Lockheart and Leo Osiris. This was most commonly seen early on in [[ExcitedShowTitle New Horizon!]], where Leo would enjoy pranking Drake for laughs, while Drake would either snark back at Leo or return the favor with violence. Later on however, the two begin to act much more friendly with one another.

* SimpleStaff: Dimitri carries one around, but doesn't seem to use it much.

* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Amongst the LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters, there are some notable individuals with rather intimidating names. Examples include:

If that wasn't bad enough; he proceeded to ''profit'' off of the aforementioned Bad Future by [[BrainwashedAndCrazy brainwashing]] people into absolutely obedient slaves and then selling them to the highest bidder. In addition; he corrupted a beautiful forest into a jungle of [[ManEatingPlant carnivorous plants]] which [[TransformationHorror transform]] their meals into [[CloneByConversion clones]] of Drago Angelica, brainwashed those clones into what is implied to be [[SexSlave sex slaves]], [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking and didn't make good on the five dollars that he owed Solaire and Bobby]]. He is either the [[HateSink direct or indirect cause of every conflict in the story]], to the point where the Godsend manages to solve '''ALL''' of the problems in the story [[MurderIsTheBestSolution by simply killing him]] and [[ViolenceReallyIsTheAnswer thereby]] convincing his past self to not cause all of those problems to begin with. He is a complete monster of a [[TheHedonist hedonist]] who is the perfect example of EvilIsPetty.

* ChunkyUpdraft: This is the effect of Knave's [[UpToEleven Hyper]] [[SuperMode Mode]] transformation, similar to Luffy's steam or Chris's bubbles.

* FlashStep: Like in canon, there are characters who move so fast, it's hard to track them with the naked eye. The vast majority of characters use Soru, though there are those who use more inventive methods. And then there are those few who [[UpToEleven manage to go even faster than that]]. Nova Blade became known as [[RedBaron the Blur]] for this very reason.

* GratuitousForeignLanguage: Drunken Devil Monroe. Notable in that it is never the same language twice, and is deliberately invoked; WordOfGod says that his speech was run through an online translator even when the writer knew the language well enough to do a better job. [[UpToEleven Including when his speech was in English]]. Possibly Justified, given that he was almost certainly drunk for his entire onscreen time so far, but mainly just RuleOfFunny

** Piotr Mori deserves a mention here simply because of [[UpToEleven how far]] he takes this trope; Apart from having a logia power, he also wears armor that can withstand attacks, and block out the usual logia weaknesses if you hit it, assuming he doesn't just block normally. If you damage the armor, it absorbs his logia element to repair itself. And before you even get a clear shot at him, you have to go through [[BattleCouple his partner, Samantha]]. Her ability? A near perfect defense. Which she can recover by absorbing extra bits of Piotr's armor. No surprise that they're basically TheDreaded

** Dimitri Marcellus has three "Versions" his cyborg form can assume using his shapeshifting, which each specialise in different things. WordOfGod has it that these forms actually have [[UpToEleven super modes of their own]] that exaggerate their strengths even further.

** Destiny Blade, mother of Nova Blade. Like Mona, she uses Life Return to maintain her youthful appearance. ''Unlike'' Mona however, Destiny takes it a step farther by applying her [[SuperIntelligence amazing intellect]] and the use of her laboratory to support her Life Return abilities. Thus, if Mona has this trope in spades, then Destiny clearly takes it UpToEleven.

* BiTheWay: Thoosa; however, her tendency to [[IHaveYouNowMyPretty kidnap]] anyone she takes a liking to (Read: [[LoveableSexManiac '''EVERYONE''']] but [[EvenEvilHasStandards Zoan-type Devil Fruit Users]]) causes her to straddle the line between this trope and DepravedBisexual.

** Thoosa, perhaps the greatest recent example on the wiki, due to her [[BiTheWay bisexuality]] and lack of proper impulse control.

* WrestlerInAllOfUs: [[MrViceGuy Commander Chance]] of the Marines. He combines this with his [[KiAttacks Busoshoku Haki]] and [[WindsOfDestinyChange Shuuchuu Shuuchuu no Mi]] to devastating effect.

* AerithAndBob: The sheer range of diversity in names can be pretty mind-boggling at times. Sometimes, you'll get a rather straight up, ordinary name, such as [[PsychicPowers Leo D. Charlie]]. Other times, you'll get mixed results, like John Jango De Triezieme. Then there's those of the likes of [[MyHeroZero Zero Hotaru]], [[NoNameGiven ????]], [[OneLetterName M]], and [[MeaningfulName Guddo Rakku]]. And then there's [[OneOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers Pretty Princess]]...

* BadassGrandpa: Galaxy Blade, full stop. Needless to say that if you're the head of the reigning, ''definitive'' BadassFamily on Ship of ools Wiki, then you're very likely going to be a BadassGrandpa yourself.

* CherryBlossomGirl: [[EmotionlessGirl Dracule Sakura]], despite not seeming so at first glance, is indeed one. Firstly, there's the obvious fact of her first name being Sakura ([[CaptainObvious which is Japanese for cherry blossom]].) More subtle clues include her samurai theme, given she's the Jolly Pirates' expert swordsman. Then there's the fact that she was born on May 1st ([[SignificantBirthDate which is during the Japanese cherry blossom festival, Hanami]],) has all her air related sword techniques colored pink, and that one of them is even designed to look like a mass of [[RazorWind flying cherry blossoms]]. Finally, there's her sword's name, "Momoran" (means Pink Storm in Japanese. It was a deliberate attempt on the author's part to invoke a cherry blossom image in the reader's head,) and her [[IncrediblyLamePun budding]] relationship with the Skyline Pirates' swordsman and first mate, [[BlackKnight Drake Lockheart]].

* PettingZooPeople: Ship of Fools Wiki may very well be a zoo, given it has a collection of animal-esque beings inhabiting it. Ranging from the Wolf-Folk to the [[BigfootSasquatchAndYeti bigfeet]], to the [[CatFolk Nekojin]], and even to the [[HarpingOnAboutHarpies harpies]].

* ElementalPowers: As in the original source material, Logia Devil Fruit give this to the user. However, many of the elements are somewhat stranger than the ones seen in OnePiece, such as clay, photoreactive particles, and ''time''

* VitriolicBestBuds: Much like Zoro and Sanji from the OnePiece canon, there are some pairs of characters on this wiki who just don't get along with each other, and yet when the chips are down, will take a bullet for the other guy in a heartbeat.

* EmotionlessGirl: Every so often, one of these will appear on the wiki, depending on the writer. One that's gained a strong following is [[TallDarkAndBishoujo Dracule Sakura]], the swordsman of the Jolly Pirates. In her case, she's completely unaware of her stoicism, and as a result, will make attempts to act more lively if this is ever addressed to her. Another notable example is Alidia Kosaka, the assassin of the Red Wing Pirates. Interestingly, both authors [[WordOfGod admitted to one another]] that their respective [[EmotionlessGirl Emotionless Girls]] were based on the same fictional character, [[Manga/KenichiTheMightiestDisciple Shigure Kosaka]].

** And then there's Isaac Giovanni, who's only organic feature is his brain, a la Dr. Gero from DragonBallZ.

** Katsa Di Valenca is an odd example, in that her goals aren't that bad on paper; she wants to topple both the nobles and the underworld, neither of which are particularly good guys. The villainy comes in the fact that [[TheRevolutionWillNotBeCivilized The world will be thrown into chaos]] and she has no guarantee that it will actually get better after the fact.

* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: Thorstein Weiss is shown to be [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast dangerous]] by his fight against a tavern full of drunken pirates and Bounty hunters. All that is shown is the result; the brawlers are [[CurbStompBattle concussed]], Weiss is [[ImplacableMan entirely unscathed]], and the Taven is literally [[NoodleIncident upside down]]

* ShoutOut: To Series/DoctorWho. John Jango de Triezieme can use time manipulation to apparently heal himself. the technique he uses is literally called "regeneration".
** The Creeper is fairly obviously based off the explosive enemy from Minecrat, and also has an appearance based off the Creeparka meme.
** Played for NightmareRetardant with Juggernaut, who turns into marshmallow as a reference to Ghostbusters.

* YouAlreadyChangedThePast: In Legend Of the Godsend, John Jango de Triezieme lampshades this, by explaining that what he was hired for isn't what he's seemingly attempting, but what he will end up doing when that plan is ''derailed'' He even discusses the exact order of events with his past self. [[spoiler: Turns into a complete MindScrew later when it turns out the ''Entire story'' was engineered retroactively by him and Deccaden to ensure they accompished the outcome they had just seen happen]]

** George Marley from the Obsidian Pirates. outside of fighting he comes across as clumsy and perhaps a bit too laidback. In the combat tournament at Whisky Peak, however, he fought against a pirate captain and won, arguably fairing better than Byrn did against said captain's right hand man.
