It soon turns out that she has friends representing other space programs, such as Space X. Additionally, Anon is one of ''Website/FourChan'' and its users, whose contributing comments move the story along.
* CassandraTruth: While in [[spoiler:Celestia]]'s care, Anon stumbles across a letter stating that [[spoiler:Princess Luna]] was "contained in their quarters" for trying to better understand the [[TheSacredDarkness "sacred" celestial bodies]], as such views could lead to societal breakdown. But by that point, it's all but outright stated that [[spoiler:Anon is FROM another planet]], giving their research validity.
* EveryoneCanSeeIt: [=NASApone=]'s attraction to Anon is incredibly obvious, from her flustered reactions to her notebook doodles. Even [=SpaceXpone=] tells them to just kiss already.

The second manned attempt is similar, cutting from [[spoiler:reaching low-orbit in a shuttle]] to [[spoiler:regaining consciousness in Ponyville General Hospital while surrounded by staff and royalty, with [=NASApone=] not recovered from the crash site]].
* NoodleIncident: The results of the first test flight aren't made clear, as it skips ahead, though it was apparently so bad that [[spoiler:[=NASApone=] and her friends fake a medical emergency to get Anon in the next rocket's cockpit]].
* {{Nosebleed}}: PlayedForDrama, as a hug from Anon following a disastrous test flight causes love-struck [=NASApone=] to go into cardiac arrest, with all of the medical supplies already packed in the cockpit for the next attempt. [[spoiler:Though it turns out to be far less urgent than it seemed, and was played up to get Anon in another rocket.]]
