* NotSoDifferent: From humans. Sure, the Lycans have more advanced technology, magic is a part of their daily lives, and Paws' Den is different enough from human communities, but there's a lot of racism between the different types of Lycans. Pures Lycans ten to feel superior to everyone else, while Hybrids, Bittens and Hycans all tend to be disliked - if not outright hated - all for different reasons.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Pervy, who's a blue dog lycan.
** When taking on the form of a lycan cat, Luna remains pink. Her human form also has green and purple bangs.

** The Dream Soldiers are KnightTemplar praetorian guards who enforce a light totalitarian regime. They are wholly convinced that [[OmniscientMoralityLicense their divination magics]] ensure they are [[PureIsNotGood pure of heart]] [[ObliviouslyEvil even when they hurt others out spite]]. They are ''very'' distressed if they think they did bad.

** Luna tells the tale of ''Literature/LittleRedRidingHood'' (a version where the Big Bad Wolf gets brutally killed). Since she's telling this story to lycans, [[InUniverse they're particularly]] [[NightmareFuel horrified by it]], especially Pituka and Pervy.

** Luna tells the tale of the Little Red Riding Hood (a version where the Big Bag Wolf gets brutally killed). Since she's telling this story to lycans, [[InUniverse they're particularly]] [[NightmareFuel horrified by it]], especially Pituka and Pervy.

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: Say hello to Pervy. He loves this trope. There's that time he sent to Pucho and Pituka a bed for two... on the night that Pucho went to live with her after being bitten... and the bed had a TV that turned on and played something naughty... Or that time he took Pucho along to spy on the girls of the group, who were bathing in hot springs...

* BiTheWay: Pervy.

** CorruptCorporateExecutives (Sir Pen Tyne) at least ''try'' to play nice, and get angry when they're treated like dirt.[[note]]Nothing says "you don't matter" like representing you as a diamond only to disinterestedly drop said diamond on the stairs as if it were a dirty rock.[[/note]]
** Many ChurchMilitant just want to keep the world safe, even if their means are excessively violent and borderline heretical.[[spoiler:And they slaughter demonic families because they ''know'' they'll just go back to their home plane.]]
** Even the Queen, who has kicked the dog multiple times, is suffering from paranoia from a failed assassination while her praetorian guard has ignored her weakening mental state. She's mostly a LargeHam with fangs to her public, as opposed to an obsessive, spiteful dictator.

* WhiteAndGreyMorality: There is no character who would correspond to a "black morality" in this series; what's more, any character who falls in the grey part of the scale is either following orders (the Dream Soldiers), brutal and twisted but helpful (the hyenas who appear in the heating factory B-Plot), nothing more than a crooked businessman (Sir Pen Tyne), or [[WellIntentionedExtremist having excellent reasons to do what they've done or are doing]] (the white gypsies from Dante's family, who slaughtered Luna's family of succubus due to the danger they represented, and then forcing Dante and Luna into a blood oath out of fear that Luna would turn out like her kind). However, some of them do seem to fit the role of antagonists, even if only for a moment.
