Is Scrappy Mechanic a better fit for his dislike of turn-based combat? In fact, I think everything under Berserk Button except the first example would better fit there instead. Also the Achilles Heel example. If this is no good then change it back.

* BerserkButton:
** Anything that can kill a game (as in, nobody can play it anymore or at least nobody who doesn't already have a copy). Examples include always-online DRM that requires the game to connect to a central server, because the server ''will'' inevitably shut down someday (discussed in his ''The Last Stand'' and ''Battleforge'' videos), and companies getting {{Abandonware}} downloads taken down (discussed in his ''Test Drive 3'' video).
** The combination of BulletHell, [[OneHitPointWonder dying in one hit]], and a limited amount of lives being ''extremely'' prevalent throughout the vertical scrolling shooter genre. The lack of these things in ''Tyrian'' is a big part of why he likes the game so much.
** Mazes and maze-like design in games, especially in First-Person Shooters. He feels they are one of the wrong extremes of the SlidingScaleOfLinearityVsOpenness, turning games into a tedious labor of wandering around in circles until he can find the way forward.
** The Christmas-themed section of ''[=CarnEvil=]'' seriously pissed him off. He felt it ruined the atmosphere of what he considers a perfect Halloween game.
** Respawning enemies in a ''VideoGame/{{Diablo}}''-style RPG. He thinks it makes no sense, and that it diminishes the satisfaction of combat.

Example Indentation. Each entry gets its own bullet point.

* BerserkButton: Anything that can kill a game (as in, nobody can play it anymore or at least nobody who doesn't already have a copy).

* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: In his review of ''VideoGame/{{Wolfenstein 2009}}'', uploaded on AprilFoolsDay, he uses some kind of code or mod to turn everybody's head into a pumpkin, and never comments on it once. Although he does repeatedly note that getting headshots in the game feels ''really'' satisfying for some odd reason that he just can't put his finger on. He also does a BaitAndSwitch when he decides to address "the elephant in the room"... which is just the ExactWords example above.

They don't even care if anyone is listening or not? Well, if you think of me like that, then you shouldn't be disappointed with this show."''
-->-- '''Ross Scott''' giving an apt description of the show in the first episode

''Ross's Game Dungeon'' is a review show created by Ross Scott who most know as the creator of ''Machinima/FreemansMind'' and ''Machinima/CivilProtection.'' The series mainly covers and analyzes obscure games and occasionally more recent games as well, with the humor taking a more deadpan approach in comparison to other review shows.

!!Ross's Game Dungeon provides examples of:
* {{Adorkable}}: There's something very endearing about Ross discussing games he has played in the past. Shown off to it's fullest in the ''VideoGame/CarnEvil'' episode.
* BerserkButton: Anything that can kill a game (as in, nobody can play it anymore or at least nobody who doesn't already have a copy).
* BrickJoke: Ross admits in ''VideoGame/CarnEvil'' that he wants the token used to summon Umlaut. In Follow-up Episode #1 he recieves a 3D printed replica of the token.
* CausticCritic: Averted. Ross fairly reviews both the good and bad aspects of the game in question and only ever bashes things that genuinely frustrate him.
* CollectorOfTheStrange: Ross is very skilled at hunting down bizarre games that nobody's ever heard of before to play. The biggest example of this is ''Bip Bop III'', a game so rare that Ross is entirely convinced it would have vanished off the face of the earth if he hadn't found it. He's probably right, too, seeing as how the only way he could get a copy was by tracking down the original developer, and all ''he'' had were retail copies of the game on floppy disk, and he wasn't even sure if they still worked or not. Ross ''then'' had to mail the floppy disk to his dad, because he hasn't had a floppy drive himself for over a decade.
* CreditsGag: The credits for the ''Revenant'' video have a magenta shadow under the text, like all of the text in the game (which was due to a bug).
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Compare the more reluctant to speak Ross from the very first episode to the now more upbeat and outgoing Ross in later episodes.
* ExactWords: He received many requests to do an episode on ''"Wolfenstein"''. He knew that everyone was ''really'' talking about ''VideoGame/Wolfenstein3D'', but decided to pull an April Fools joke by taking their requests literally and doing ''VideoGame/{{Wolfenstein 2009}}'' instead.
* FreezeFrameBonus: In the ''Test Drive 3'' episode when Ross is discussing about his obsession of video game maps, a map of Paso Robles to Monterey is shown briefly.
** During one of the credits of ''The Secret World'' episode there's barely readable text on the bottom which says [[spoiler: [[BrickJoke "I'm not giving you candy, sorry"]]]].
* IKnewIt: [[invoked]]In the ''Nyet 3'' episode, Ross talks about how there is no footage of the game's ending anywhere, and wonders what it could be, joking that for all anybody knows it could be "[[spoiler:the weird guy sailing off on a Tetris-shaped yacht full of topless women while he's showered in all the money you gave him for supplies]]". He then asks the audience to try and beat the game and send him footage of the ending, because he's much too frustrated with its difficulty to try it himself. In the first follow-up video, he shows the ending, which turns out to be very similar to the joke ending he suggested. [[spoiler:It shows the weird guy sailing off on a regular yacht full of Tetris pieces. Sadly, there are no topless women present and he's not showering himself in money.]]
* MeaningfulName: From his ''The Last Stand'' video, after playing the {{Allegedly Free| Game}} fourth game in the series, ''Dead Zone'':
-->'''Ross:''' You know what this means? It means ''The Last Stand'' series is a '''long con'''. This is what they were leading up to! They try to hook you on the early games, force you to play online later, then move in for the kill with ''Dead Zone''. Man... I admit, when I saw this was made by "Con Artists Productions", I thought they were just being stylish. I didn't suspect this game was '''literally''' made by con artists. Like, my homepage is "Accursed Farms", but that's just a name I made up. I don't actually live on a farm with fallow earth, and possessed cows, and a sentient scarecrow like in [[Literature/ScaryStoriesToTellInTheDark that one scary stories book]]. Not yet, anyway.
* RecycledTitle: He complains about this trope in his ''VideoGame/{{Wolfenstein 2009}}'' episode.
* TheStinger: Ross usually slips in one last funny clip of the game after the credits.
** Pops up in many of his videos such as in ''The Secret World'', where he finds some sinister-looking creature selling pumpkins and says that it doesn't seem like a good idea to buy any from him... they're a bit pricey. Or that being suspended in Hell is a sign of the end of summer in his ''Revenant'' review.
* UpToEleven: Discussed in ''Tyrian.''
-->'''Ross:''' ...and your primary guns have upgradeable levels. They go up to 11. Literally.
