* GoodOldFisticuffs: With the exception of fireballs, the bulk of Mario's power is basic hand to hand combat.

* OhCrap: Basically, all the time through the whole movie, especially during character entrances.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Kirby accidentally bumps into an item block, giving Mario a super mushroom, making him even more unstoppable. He uses this power to defeat Link.

While the animation is not spectacular (In fact, the creator has stated on multiple occasions that he despises it) it has gained popularity comparable with SuperMarioBrosZ (In fact, Short-Factor has actually taught Alvin a lot of what he knows)

A sequel is being planned, however Short-Factor is trying to make it as good as he possibly can and currently has not actually started animating the latest version yet ([[DevelopmentHell He has made quite a few attempts but scrapped each one]])
