* Jossed. [[spoiler: Ted's]] AKA Man-Thing's past on Skaar is never revealed. Although one can assume his teleportation powers (which are yet to be seen within the MCU) allowed him to go to Sakaar, which would explain the cameo in ''Ragnarok''.

** Why would he give them his kills? He isn't interested in their society and the marks that him killing them would leave would make it obvious it was a werewolf.

* During their reunion Elsa outright states that her father's training wasn't the only training she received when her step-mother implies otherwise. SHIELD probably would have been the best possible place for a younger Elsa and it's not hard to see Nick Fury recruiting someone with extensive knowledge about supernatural creature that most of his other people would likely lack.

[[WMG: The Bloodstone's Red Glow is more relevant than it appears]]
Despite the special being in Black & White ([[spoiler:at least until the end]]), the Bloodstone still appears as Red during the entirety of the special. The look of the stone, with its spectral like glow, is similar to two past instances of the MCU. Coincidence?
* The first similarity is how the spectral glow of the stone, bears a resemblance to the Aether (Reality Stone). If it was an another Reality Stone, than it would easily explain the Black & White nature of the program. But, the Bloodstone operates more like the Power Stone (which is Purple) and can easily be held by a regular human.
* The second similarity is how the color Red, is seen amid the Black & White like in ''Series/WandaVision''. The Red light on the Toast Mate 2000, The Red (& Yellow) SWORD Drone, and Dottie's bloody hand are all shown as Red during the Black & White episodes of the series. The recurring red motif would foreshadowed Wanda's Chaos Magic and her fate as the Scarlet Witch. Could the MCU's Bloodstone be made from Chaos Magic?

* Jossed, at least as described above. Disney +'s official MCU timeline order places Werewolf By Night after Series/SheHulkAttorneyAtLaw, placing it in 2025, despite the retro aesthetic.

* This would explain why the competition was even 'to the death' in the first place, since it would be pretty counterproductive to determine who leads a group by having them kill everyone they're supposed to lead.

[[WMG: The upcoming Blade movie will heavily tie into this special in some way]]
Maybe Jack or Elsa will appear as a supporting character, or maybe Ted or the Bloodstone will be referenced briefly. Only time will tell.

[[WMG: Ted is a ShipperOnDeck for Jack and Elsa]]
In the final scene, Jack asks Ted if Elsa is alright, and Ted responds with several things that make Jack chuckle and reply in the negative. One of those is "[[Manga/FairyTail You liiiiiikke her]]". So he had to step in and save his good friend's crush. This is part of the reason for Jack's reply about how he is the one who has to save Ted.

[[WMG: In this continuity, Verussa is the mother of Cullen Bloodstone.]]
In the comics, Elsa has a younger brother who is possessed by a demon called a Glartrox, though they are full siblings in that continuity.

[[WMG: Ulysses Bloodstone was GoodAllAlong and the funeral hunt was a ThanatosGambit.]]
Ulysses Bloodstone set up his funeral in the hopes that the more [[VanHelsingHateCrimes extreme]] monster hunters would kill each other off. He had Ted captured, which brought a werewolf into their midst just to be sure.

He'd prefer that Elsa get the Bloodstone, but even if one of the monster hunters managed to get the stone, he'd at least succeed in killing off a few of the others. [[XanatosGambit Even the worst-case scenario produces some positive results]].

[[WMG: [[Series/MoonKnight2022 Mark Spector/Steven Grant]] will be one of the first (if not the first) established characters in the MCU to encounter Jack Russell.]]
Moon Knight's first appearance in the original comics was in an issue of ''ComicBook/WerewolfByNight'', so it seems likely that the two will encounter each other soon.

[[WMG: Verussa will be resurrected somehow, and want revenge.]]
There are plenty of ways she could be brought back, and considering the Bloodstones are connected to magic, it is possible.

* This would fit, since in the comics his mother was studying abroad in Romania when she met his father.

* The first similarity is how the spectral glow of the stone, bears a resemblance to the Aether (Reality Stone). If it was an another Mind Stone, than it would easily explain the Black & White nature of the program. But, the Bloodstone operates more like the Power Stone (which is Purple) and can easily be held by a regular human.
