True Art Is Incomprehensible is now an in-universe trope as per TRS.

Both involve super powered people that [[PowerGlows glow blue]]. Both are arguably deconstructions of the Superhero genre, or at least the reactions to people with super powers, whether its corporatism or just cold blooded espionage. However, Tiger and Bunny might be poking fun at how the latter is DarkerAndEdgier, and how it has mind boggling [[GainaxEnding conclusions]], by simply being fun. In other words, "You can still have a show that's comedic, idealistic, and still deconstructs/[[ReConstruction reconstructs]] a genre without needing a [[TrueArtisAngsty gut-wrenchingly huge body count]] and an [[TrueArtisIncomprehensible increasingly incomprehensible plot]]."

* Season 2 shows the development of a drug that increases a NEXT's powers and is administered through injections to the neck - just like Trigger does for Quirks. Sure, the drug that augments a NEXT's powers doesn't impair the user's reason, but Trigger has many variants (including at least one manufactured and distributed legally, if heavily regulated), illegal distributors could easily favor ones with mental side effects or cut it with reason-impairing substances to make more money.

Otherwise, how would have he managed to turn into a ''paper sheet'' without losing his armor?

Confirmed theory

[[WMG:Kotetsu and the others will not only learn that Yuri is Lunatic, but also find out about Yuri's past as [[spoiler:Mr. Legend son]]]]
The trailer for season 2 part 2 shows that Yuri will be more active as Lunatic and even seen punching a mirror with [[spoiler:Legend's face]]. Kotetsu already had a BrokenPedestal regarding Mr. Legend after learning how he faked his heroics when his powers were fading, so the series would cement it [[spoiler:by revealing how in his last moments Mr. Legend abused his wife and son before Yuri killed him in defense of his mother]]. This would allow Kotetsu to better sympathize with Lunatic when he finds out he is Yuri. Though that won't stop the heroes from having to take Lunatic down for his vigilante murders.
* The Mr. Legend part became confirmed in episode 20, with Yuri himself revealing what happened to Mr. Legend to Kotetsu as a warning about putting too much stock in his role as a hero.

Big Damn Villains has been disambiguated.

It will be either Kotetsu, making BigDamnHeroes moment to make up for his previous screw-up [[spoiler: And possibly granting victory if WMG about Jake being mind-reader and not being able to read more than one mind is true]] or Lunatic, making BigDamnVillains entrance and killing Jake. It depends on the direction writers want to take the story - if it will be Lunatic, they may go with him trying to persuade Barnaby into joining him, which may be important subplot in second part of the series.

Dewicking Not So Different as it is now a disambig.

That would make a nice twist, putting him on NotSoDifferent level with Barnaby. And he already seems to be strongly inspired by ComicBook/ThePunisher anyway.

[[WMG:NEXT is an early name for [[Manga/MyHeroAcademia the Quirk]]]]
Considering that NEXT and Quirks seem to operate in a very similar way but NEXT people are still a minority suffering ostracization from baseline humans, this could be the early years of the Quirk, when society was suffering a breakdown-or either immediately after or during its recovery.

* There isn't much evidence for this, seeing as the very reason he became a Vigilante Man was a drunken Mr. Legend, who had already lost his powers.

[[WMG: There is a link between being a NEXT and experiencing same-sex attraction.]]
Agnes eventually works this out and decides to play that for ratings. Sky High is a possible flaw in this theory however he could be bi/pan/poly/queer/questioning.
