...or someone the president sends him to rescue. Either way, the title bears a strong resemblance to a certain ExcusePlot from a certain videogame involving the president and ninjas, and - with the president on the phone three pages in - it looks more and more like this will be the case. Alternatively, it will be about Dr. McNinja protecting the president from a Bad Enough Dude, such as Frans Ranyer.

King Radical will ultimately succeed in killing of most of his family and then the Good Doctor himself. Doc will then end up in the Afterlife and have a chat with his old teacher, Ben, before doing what Ben himself once did and resurrect himself by recombining his soul with his clone, Old.

** Not radical enough. Anime/GunBuster already used a planet like weapon -Jupiter, which is bigger than Earth and Mars together-, and Ideon is able to destroy planets, so it is not radical enough. Not, what will happen is the giant robots will disintegrate both planets and will use their remnants to build and fuel the biggest WaveMotionGun ever seen to destroy the space monsters (placing it in the bow of Yamato). Desperate, the space monsters will team up with the alien dinosaurs -that know that Manga/GetterRobo is their worst enemy-, but they shall be vanquished. One of the space monsters will survive, though, hidden in a rift between worlds, feeding off those universes' radicalness in order to survive. Soon it will grow so large and powerful than the VideoGame/SuperRobotWars army will have to team up with Hastings' Justice League (comprised of ComicBook/SpiderMan, Gandalf, Franchise/RoboCop, Super Mario and Bobba Fett, and reinforced with Franchise/Superman, Franchise/Batman, Franchise/WonderWoman, Goku, Kenshiro, Pegasus Seiya, Manga/AstroBoy, Ken/Mark the Eagle, Itto Ogami, Link, Samus Aran, Leonardo, Optimus Prime, Lion-O, He-Man, Franchise/ConanTheBarbarian, Literature/HarryPotter and the Film/Ghostbusters. The ensuing war both will destroy and restart the universe, opening two possibilities: a) radicalness was destroyed, giving birth a clean, free cosmos; or b) radicalness was left, and everything will happen again.

WMG: Frans Rayner will become TheStarscream.
After King Radical overthrew the US government, he started offering positions and Frans Rayner successfully obtained the empty seat of Vice President. He's held the ambition of killing the president to become president for some time, and it is entirely probable that he hasn't lost that ambition.

* And then there's the fact that Dr. McNinja was Hasting's SomethingAwful avatar and Ron Wizard was his City of Heroes character. And Sean "Dark Smoke Puncher" was named after his real life brother, Sean. Does this mean that Chris Hastings would be the Boring World version of Dr. McNinja?

* Jossed. The curse didn't need "targeting," it simply needed McNinja's name. And names are powerful magic. In essence, both McNinja and his clone are screwed.

WMG: Frans Rayner will kill Dr. McNinja (or his clone) randomly.
With the ghost's curse in effect, McNinja's now on the run. We've seen one frame into the future (beginning of Futures Trading): A bruised and bloodied McNinja in a building about to bombed by the military who is chasing him. It's at this point that McNinja unmasks himself and goes incognito. Problem is, as noted at the very end of Army of One, Rayner knows what McNinja looks like under the mask, and will kill him when he spots him.
Alternatively, his clone will be killed while doing something similar.

WMG: When the Dr. inevitably gets cursed, Mary will be the one to save him from it
One of the Dr.'s life missions is to figure out how magic and science fit together so as to deal with the wizard. Mary's mission was to be the one scientist who could connect God to some sort of scientific proof. The wizard said that his curse would prevent the Dr. from receiving any more miracles. Which is basically what Mary's powers revolve around.

He'll invoke his real name to summon the wizard, then sic him on Radical. More likely the wizard will get intercepted by Radical's wizard pal, but that just means Doc can pound on Radical without fear of magical interference.
