** Maybe watch MatPat to joss your concerns. He has a similar theory yet he explains how Peach can be dead in the book yet alive everywhere else.
** I've seen MatPat's videos. There's no reason to think that Rosalina is related to Princess Peach - as stated above, they look marginally alike as a remnant of the game's beta stages. There isn't any other evidence to suggest a connection, and saying that Rosie's mother wasn't actually dead would undermine the significance of the events in the storybook. (That, and it's not just the storybook that suggests her mother should be dead - Rosalina has been alive for at least a few centuries do to her travels in the observatory - there's no way her family could be alive so many years later.)

** Alternatively, the Luigi playthrough is the version of events that occur in the heavily altered universe seen at the end of the game.

** Likely Jossed, since ''VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy2'' is heavily implied to take place in the altered universe.

Peek A Bangs has been disambiguated

** Rosalina and Count Bleck can both levitate, project barriers around themselves and others, and (possibly, in Rosalina's case) have vision problems. Bleck wears a monocle throughout the game, while Rosalina has PeekABangs that cover one of her eyes.

* Hold on... if the Mario and Sonic universes are one and the same and the Black Arms coexist with the Lumas, then that means [[Videogame/SonicFrontiers THE END]] coexists with them as well. [[FridgeHorror So its planet and star destruction tendencies involve it killing Lumas!]]

After returning from his adventure, Mario eventually gets around to telling Luigi about what happened. Later, while either dreaming or daydreaming, or possibly even during Mario's storytelling, Luigi plays out the story in his head, except he replaces Mario with himself doling out the heroics. He apparently doesn't put too much effort into making the dream believable though, since he still ends up rescuing "Luigi", there's only sparse unique dialog concerning Luigi, and Bowser considers [[SecondBanana second-banana,]] gets-lost-finding-stars, [[CowardlySidekick probably-afraid-of-his-own-shadow]] Luigi as much of a legitimate threat as Mario himself.

* So Shadow is Rosalina’s nephew?

* While I can see the similarities between the two, it’s kind of a stretch. If the Mario and Sonic series were in the same universe, then why didn’t Mario run into the Black Arms at any point during either of his galactic adventures?

Moving from the general WMG page.

** At the end of ''Galaxy 2'', when she's reunited with Luma, Rosalina makes a statement about how her desire to be reunited with Luma was stronger than some "mere whim of the stars," which is a similar concept to what Tippi tells Dimentio before he's defeated. ("All things determine their destinies.")

[[WMG: "Galaxy" is a translation error]]
Super Mario Galaxy features "galaxies" which are at most a few miles across. Given how each galaxy selection area looks like a star system (complete with Pluto's inclined orbit), it'd make more sense if the galaxies are actually planets/planetoids, and the six selection areas are solar systems. This confusion must have set in while translating between Mushroom Kingdom-language and English/Japanese.
* Or maybe it was just named that way to give way to [[http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/18/u-r-mr-gay-message-discovered-in-super-mario-galaxy-box-art/ "UR MR GAY"]].
* Yeah, except each level has multiple planets and sometimes a sun or moon. It makes more sense to me if the whole thing is technically one galaxy, but every level except [[spoiler:Grand Finale]] is a solar system.
* The Mushroom Kingdom language is particularly confusing for this sort of thing, hence different areas of the Mushroom Kingdom, Yoshi's Island etc. being known as "Worlds".
* No, they are actual galaxies, {{Baby Planet}}s aside, Mario only visits a small part of each galaxy, the part that has the power stars he needs.

** She's also bloody tall compared to the rest of the human characters, can fly and also uses magic. I think she's just a magicap space being. At the very least, she is AmbiguouslyHuman.
