[[WMG: A second movie for the series will be created, and will focus on the Cluster.]]
The movie starts with Yellow Diamond making good on her promise to fix the Cluster, with Steven showing up to observe. However an unforeseen consequence occurs from freeing each gem from The Cluster: the darkness/combined corruption fuses into a form known as Black Diamond. Unlike Steven's other foes, Black Diamond cannot be reasoned with due to being pure trauma/corruption taken form.

As a being of pure corruption, Black Diamond poses a dangerous threat, [[TheCorrupter being able to damage gems enough to turn them into Corrupted Gems]] and [[ReforgedIntoAMinion force them to serve it]] while rampaging across the world. Once Steven and the Crystal Gems manage to force Black Diamond to retreat, it [[ZombieApocalypse decides to attack Homeworld, causing more gems to fall under it's thrall.]]

As it turns out, the Diamonds had been working on Anti-Corruption Drives for [[CrazyPrepared such an event]], allowing them to uncorrupt Gems en-mass as long as they're in range. With the other gems uncorrupted, Steven, the Crystal Gems and the Diamonds are able to lure Black Diamond into an enclosed space before Steven and the Diamonds combine powers to unleash an Anti-Corruption Wave, which causes Black Diamond to perish due to [[EvilCannotComprehendGood it's nature as pure corruption.]]

An alternate plot would be akin to a zombie apocalypse/character study where Black Diamond emerges from the Cluster and corrupts every gem on Earth. Unlike the original series, Steven is forced to fight the corrupted Crystal Gems (and Jasper) and go into their gems to uncorrupt them.
During this time, Steven's gem begins to gradually corrupt. When Steven manages to get the Diamonds to help him uncorrupt every Earth based gem with special Anti-Corruption Drives, they're then forced to deal with an attack to Homeworld. Black Diamond corrupts every gem on Homeworld and the Diamonds, forcing Steven and the Crystal Gems to go into their gems to uncorrupt them before confronting Black Diamond. As a being of pure corruption, it cannot be reasoned with and any exposure to Diamond essence causes it to take damage.

Steven eventually succumbs to Black Diamond's corruption but due to his half-human nature, he's [[HeroicWillpower able to fight off Black Diamond's influence]] due to being now able to properly deal with his own trauma. Steven leads the Crystal Gems into battle against Black Diamond, with each member now strong enough to face Black's influence. With Black Diamond's corruption proving ineffective and having no actual plan, it tries to attack only for Steven to [[ReviveKillsZombie use his healing powers which turn out to be the key to defeating it.]]

Maybe complete with a SpitTrailKiss. Okay, it will be a LighterAndSofter and [[AccidentalPun tasteful]] version, but it will be the last straw for GettingCrapPastTheRadar. It would set new records for Children's TV shows. Shippers will throw parties. Seriously. Even if it's ''just once'' in the whole show's run.

[[WMG: If the show comes back with another installment of the main storyline, it will reveal the Diamonds origins and have them be a major focus of the story.]]
In the art book “End of an Era”, a timeline is shown of the events of the series, going as far back as the creation of Homeworld. For some reason, a large amount of text likely detailing the Diamonds creation has been blacked out, indicating that Rebecca and/or the crew may potentially be planning to return to the show some day with a story centering on the origins of Gemkind.

This would also most likely put the Diamonds themselves at the forefront of this story by maybe having them struggle to hold on to the ideals that Steven has taught them about while dealing with a threat from their past.

Future will be about Steven and the rest of Gemkind forming a new rebellion against Black Daimond and the Dark Gems to prevent him from conquering the universe.

Finally, during this time Black will challenge what Steven and co see as right as wrong, questioning wether or not their desire for empathy and equality will truly lead to a brighter future(he could maybe even succeed in destroying Stevens Gem, lamenting over how he and Pink may have gotten along well under different circumstances)

At some point, there will be a spin-off starring Lars and the Off-Colors. It will be called ''Lars of the Stars'', and focus on the motley crew exploring strange new worlds inhabited by bizarre creatures, solving mysteries, and occassionally checking in with Earth.
* There could also be a spinoff/prequel about the adventures of Rose Quartz/Pink Dimond.

[[WMG: [=If/When=] there is another series made in the universe, it'll be an AnimatedAnthology.]]
Related to the above guess, but instead of just focusing on one subject, it'll give us snapshots of different ones set in the past, present, and future of what we'll call the "Steven Saga" (i.e. the classic series, the Movie, and Future). The show overall could look into a multitude of different times and characters, including Lars and the Off-Colors both before getting back to Earth and after taking off into space again, the Gem War, Gems exploring their new lives in Little Homeworld and beyond, Homeworld itself during Era 3, Steven's road trip, Greg and the Gems living together, and possibly more.

This format could allow the Crewniverse to explore any and all the plot ideas they [[WhatCouldHaveBeen wanted to include but never got the chance to]], such as an Amethyst origin story (with a motherly Rose), Rose deciding to have Steven, Rhodinite's backstory with an appearance from Morganite (who apparently has a canon design), Mystery Girl returning, why the Zircons were "in trouble", Spinel and the Diamonds having "problems to settle out", what happens when a gem is left in the dark too long, Lapis backstory and details about her powers, and Lars discovering his Lion powers. Steven's story being concluded by the end of the Future series would mean that the "Steven Perspective" can be retired, which means episodes centering around these things wouldn't even require a framing device to show Steven learning these things as we do.
