[[WMG: Wendy Spector passed away from cirrhosis.]]
The flashbacks that take place after Randall's death suggest Wendy resorted to drinking heavily to cope with the loss and that's why she abused Marc, leading him to create Steven. What if Wendy didn't stop drinking from that point onward? All those years of drinking surely took their toll.

[[WMG:The third personality will be released now that Marc and Steven are gone.]]

Unless the last episode pulls some kind of trick to at least get Marc back, he and Steven are out. That leaves the third personality to take over now that there’s nothing to keep him away. He’ll take it upon himself to finish what Marc and Steven began, before moving on to start a new life of his own.

[[WMG:What if… Marc drowned instead of Randall?]]
* Wendy Spector will either blame Randall for Marc’s death, or she’ll grow more protective of Randall, not wanting him to die like Marc did.
* Randall will use a different coping mechanism than Marc did.
* Randall will either become the avatar of Khonshu or another god, depending on the path he takes as an adult.
* Randall will be unaquainted with Layla, as he likely didn’t go on the same expedition as her father.

[[WMG:The last episode will show someone drinking a glass of water.]]
This would serve as a BookEnds for the start of the series, where Harrow did the same thing. Main difference will be that the other person does not break the cup and put the shards in their shoes. Bonus points if it’s Marc/Steven/the third personality.

* With Marc stuck in the Egyptian paradise afterlife, and Steven essentially left for dead in the sands of the Duat, and Taweret noting that she cannot send them back to life in their body because they would die without the powers of Khonshu, who is sealed away, outside help must come from a different source. Each of the Ennead appear to have their own avatar on Earth, but Taweret's, if she has one, conspicuously hasn't been seen. She could empower Layla to help her fight the cult and, ideally, free Khonshu so that Marc and Steven can survive. It also would fit well with Marvel Studios' recent push for more diversity in their array of superheroes and put Marc[=/=]Steven and Layla on a more equal footing as a BattleCouple.

[[WMG:Ammit works for the TVA]]
* The people seen going to Harrow for Ammit’s judgment wouldn’t do so if they had ever committed evil or had any intention of doing evil in the future, yet some are surprised to find out that they will. That’s because Ammit doesn’t look to see if the person will do anything that would be considered conventionally evil, rather Ammit looks to see if they will do anything the TVA disapproves of. If the TVA decides that the Sacred Timeline will continue in their absence, but their continued existence would cause a nexus event, they die.

[[WMG:The Oscar Isaac with a bruised face and cut across the nose isn’t Marc or Steven]]
* It’s Jake Lockley. Marc and Steven are never seen with these injuries throughout Episode 5. His voice and way of talking are different from them, and he behaves more aggressively, to the point he has to be heavily sedated.

[[WMG:The third personality is the embodiment of Marc’s resentment and pain from his mother]]
* Given the third alter’s brutal nature, it wouldn’t be surprising if it’s revealed he is a very angry person filled with hate.

[[WMG:Alternatively, third personality could represent how Marc’s mother made him see himself]]
* For years, Marc’s mother blamed him for the death of his brother, basically calling him a murderer. He could have internalized her words and created an alter that was the monster she saw in him.

When Steven and Layla approach Harrow's camp at Ammit's tomb, they see a goat looking down at them from a cliff, the sun shining through his horns. This resembles Khnum, a god with the head of a ram or billy-goat; he is a version of Ra who is connected to the sunset and Ra's travel through the underworld at night. Conclusion: the goat is a shapeshifting Ra, who is observing the whole situation from afar.

This would be why many people there resemble characters seen in previous episodes, as well as why Tawaret was there.

[[WMG:Marc/Steven will release Khonshu soon after Harrow releases Ammit.]]
This would lead to a final showdown between the two, now both on even ground. Marc would end up winning, but Harrow would still put up a decent fight.

[[WMG: If the third alter is Jake Lockley, then his surname would be given a [[MeaningfulName special meaning to him]].]]
Particularly, it would refer to how he was ''lock''ed inside of Marc's subconscious for so long, and has only recently broken free.

[[WMG:The third alter will initiate a SplitPersonalityTakeover.]]
After presumably spending a lot of his time locked away in Marc's mind, with neither him or Steven aware of his existence, he'll decide to push them there too to show them how it felt. This would also lead to Layla and Khonshu having to deal with an almost complete stranger, with no way to know when or if Marc and Steven will ever resurface.
